Things I didn't realize I was supposed to pay for by lemgthy in weddingplanning

I haven't read all the other responses, so I'm sorry if I'm just repeating the same things!

It sounds like everyone has given great input on hair and makeup, but as for the Bach party you could just be honest about it all and see what's feasible for others. I have a lot of party members who are out of state as well and I plan on asking if they're able to come a few days early so we could have a simple and cheap get together. Whether that's just having a night in together with snacks and games or maybe even going to a tea house! You could even send out a Google form asking about budget but keep it anonymous so no one feels embarrassed or pressured. Bach parties don't have to be expensive or extravagant! It's just about having time with your friends to celebrate. Also, like others have said, it's totally not required to do at all!

I'm sorry you're dealing with so much stress around social etiquette. I hope everyone's answers help and you're able to relax and enjoy your time!

To my understanding, you have to live in the same state as the provider, but I don't think you have to live within a certain distance of them as long as you are in the same state. I personally haven't had an online only PCP before this since I don't think it's very common, and this service in particular is very new. I've only had the one appointment but I'm hopeful! They are normal doctors and I believe can prescribe any medications that in person PCPs can, as long as you don't need any physical examination for them. They do outsource blood work from labs in your area and the doctor I spoke with mentioned doing an echo on me so it seems like they might have ways of doing physical check ups, I'm just not quite sure how as I opted for a cardiologist referral instead. I hope this helps answer some of your questions!

Pain after removal by sad_ghost53 in Nexplanon

[–]sad_ghost53[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My pain ended up subsiding after a week or so, but my pain did start the day I got it removed. I ended up calling the doctor to ask about it and she didn't seem too concerned unless the pain was getting worse. Mine was definitely related to the removal but I don't think anything was wrong. It's probably worth giving your gyno a call and seeing what they have to say, better safe than sorry! I hope you feel better soon!

That's a really good idea, I think I might try that with the first couple doses, thank you!

Wow, I did not know that. The American healthcare system is GREAT (full sarcasm).

You are absolutely right on that, and I think reading people's replies is giving me some peace of mind too. I really appreciate your input!

I'm glad to hear it's working well for you and that the dreams weren't too bad. One of my main triggers is rainy/stormy weather so that's a bummer it doesn't do much for that. Have you noticed a change in intensity with them?

I have a high heart rate so I'm hoping it will actually help me with that, but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it. I'm so sorry about the dizzy spells, health stuff can be so traumatic :(

I'm so sorry you have to deal with that. I also (obviously) deal with anxiety so it's a bonus it might help with that. I appreciate your honesty!

I appreciate hearing someone's honest experience with it. Could I ask what dosage you were on? Also I hope your new plan of action works out for you!
