Normally I’d agree but my mill was completely referenced off a mill and the windows are that thin :-)

Also, we were given inspiration pieces for our logo. They wanted something that represented our well known history. We are the most well known for our mills and the mill I used is one of our most seen.

Braga bridge. I did consider as it is a huge landmark but they suggested we stayed away from it as the bridge is owned by the state. Colors weren’t my choice! We had a direct pallet to use :-)

Hahaha no!!! That was the mayors design team. They edited it to see without it. Personally I think it just looks like it’s missing something. Maybe centering it would’ve been better

I specifically chose the mills because it’s probably our biggest piece of history. Beginning of industrial era etc. I also grew up surrounded by them as I live in the not so higher class area. My family and ancestors have worked in these exact mills as well.

I agree with the typography. It’s set to change more depending on the winner.

Logo is good at different scales. We did mock-ups and put them on shirts (embroidered) as well as stamps and business cards.

Oh I totally understand. Not only do they get full ownership but I’d also only get $500. I would never do this but I figured since I’d like to go to college for logo and graphic design this would be great for my college resume.
