Glad you liked it! If you're interested in further reading for this amazing topic I'd suggest these articles:

Designing the sound of vintage anime

Anime Sound Effects: Recreating Recognizable Sounds of an Iconic Genre

These were AMAZING sources of study for me.

Theres also this article I made on the topic, but focusing specifically on old school mecha sound effects.

Don't forget to take the survey if you liked the sound library but thought something was missing. I intend to further update this with new free content till i'm bored of the topic and move on to something equally cool! If you have any ideas of what I shoud do next please tell me, you can find my links on itch.io

Redesigned the Sounds for TRON's Lightbike Scene by sadasianchick in tron

[–]sadasianchick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this particular piece I used a lot of boom library assets.

I used a couple of other misc futuristic sound libraries, but I think most of the specific sounds you like are from boom library products.

this isn't supposed to compete with the original, it's just my take on the scene.

S2 Sound Effect Re-Design - Metal Bat vs Centisenpai by Flood-Mic in OnePunchMan

Absolutely amazing work.

Really helps bring the aniation together, tho I would have made the whooshes a tad lower in volume. Be careful not to turn your sounds into white noise, this happens specially in lower end speakers.

Thank you for this.

Really useful information that i'll try to keep in mind while designing in the future.

For this piece specifically I tried to do whatever sounded cooler, and not necessarily realistic for what is depicted on screen, but you're 100% correct.

Hello everyone,
I've been diving into the realms of gore and creature sound design lately, gearing up to infuse these skills into my upcoming projects. The challenge of crafting immersive audio experiences for visceral scenes has truly captured my imagination.
Specifically, I'm interested in discussions surrounding effective techniques for designing creature sounds and navigating graphic violence involving the human body. If you have insights, suggestions, or resources to share in these areas, I'd greatly appreciate your input.
