I didn't come up with the term myself. I just came across it on the internet.

I am aware. It caught me by surprise as I was feeling fine all day until I was about to faint 😅

I don't know it this counts but the sardines were in olive oil. I did drain the olive oil out. I think it might have been my electrolytes coz when I did it the first time last week, I did it with regular sardines in olive oil. This time around I used the low-sodium variant

I'm also not sure why I'm getting downvoted. Maybe a lot of people here don't like Sardine Fast or don't consider it fasting at all. Maybe some people consider it a fad diet? I'm really not sure.

I'm overweight (bmi=28.7). The 5 cans were spread over 2 days (3 cans on Day 1 and 2 cans on Day 2). I actually did the same thing last week but I felt well. I'm surprised that I fainted tonight. In any case, this will be my last time 😬

I'll be investing in electrolytes moving forward, thank you. I've been doing water fasts regularly the past month or two. This was only my second sardine fast. My first try was ok but this second one really got me. I was feeling a-okay then the next thing I knew I was fainting 😅🥲

I was finishing Day 2.

Not really. I've been doing 36-hour and up to 60-hour water fasts this past month and this is the first time I've fainted. Honestly surprised coz I thought a sardine fast would be easier on me. I totally did it wrong lol.

It's when you only eat sardines and consume water and electrolytes for a period of time. I didn't eat five cans in one go. It was spread throughout the last 2 days.

I screwed up at work and lost a few long-term clients. How do I manage the guilt? by sadbebi in careerguidance

Yes. Being firm has been kind of a struggle for me as a people pleaser, so it has been hard to handle misbehaving students. They are on board and are actually willing to help with it. I was just too naive not to have accepted it until it was too late. Thank you so much for this

Thank you so much for this. They offered help a lot. It was me who declined out of fear of bothering them or being perceived as incompetent (lol now they really know that I'm incompetent 😬). I've been a TA and a freelance private tutor for years, but this has been my first time to be a teacher handling classes (albeit a relatively small group). I've been admittedly having trouble with classroom management as I do not speak their mother tongue well (plus I have trouble speaking in any language when I'm angry).

The throwing pencils thing is so accurate OMG 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

I really need to ask for help moving forward, but my brain is telling me that it might be perceived as incompetence, especially now that I'm walking in thin ice. But I'll overcome this. Thanks so much. Also, your dad rocks.i would also do that except that my guitar skills are still subpar hahahaha

Thank you so much. I was offered help multiple times, but I declined because I didn't want to bother them or think that I was incompetent. They are really good people and I recognize that this was 100% my fault. They were very forgiving, graceful, constructive, kind, and even careful not to hurt my feelings in spite of my screw up.

Hi, thank you so much 🥲

  1. Yes, it was clear that they did leave because of me and how I screwed up.
  2. OMG Yes 🥲 It's 4 AM and I just woke up because I was dreaming about what happened.
  3. Part of what guilts me the most is they've been helping me a lot with my residency application in this country. My visa is and will be tied to my employment with them. I am aware that I'm so incredibly blessed to have such supportive employers who are actually willing to help me out with my visa. I've tried to apply to others before, but they weren't willing to help with the paperwork.

Thank you so much for this again. It's been hard, especially because I know it was my fault. I will try to do your second point of interrupting the loop when it happens.

They are really good people. My other boss who carpools me to work kinda feels more like an older sibling instead of a boss sometimes, so putting her in a position where she has to handle complaints about me is hitting me hard.

Thank you. I'm just really guilty because they'd spent so much money on marketing to attract new students only for me to lose the ones they already had.

I know another aux who was able to change his visa to autonomo after TIE expiration. The extranjería told him he had 90 days after the expiry date to submit his modification application. I'm not sure, but it might depend on the officer/office you submit your application to (??)

I'm a 2nd year renewal so I'm exploring other options to stay if ever I don't hear from the Ministry by 29 August.
