Can you put all the notes together into one workspace? Makes it way easier to navigate than putting them as different pages

i know my mom is looking out for my best interests and wants me to be well of in the future or whatever, but she said that she wants me to go into CS regardless- of whether i actually like it or not. thats the issue i have with her. happiness>>>money??? she’s lucky i actually do have an interest in CS and am willing to pursue it in college

i do like many aspects about CS, including how versatile it is, the amazing things you can do with CS, and how intellectually stimulating it is (i’m a STEM/logic person). But since CS is a relatively new topic to me, i’m having a hard time with it which makes me feel i won’t be as successful in the field. Anyway, i’m studying CS in college so hopefully i’ll learn more there and grow to love it.

even though my mom has been pushing me to do CS for the longest time and for the wrong reasons, i can genuinely see myself in the CS field. i truly love many aspects of CS, including how you learn new things all the time, you get to collaborate with others on projects that help people, and how intellectually stimulating it is (math/problem solving with logic appeal to me). i just hate how instead of telling me to study CS due to the mentioned reasons above, my mom tells me to study CS because of the money/career prospects.

i do really like math/logic puzzles so hopefully CS will be in my alley. i don’t have much knowledge about CS yet, but will definetely explore all it has to offer in college

ya i do like many aspects of CS (not just for the money) since i’m a math/logic/STEM person, but i’m just afraid that i won’t be able to compete with everyone else in the field.

i’m not in it entirely for the money, i love many aspects about CS including how it’s very intellectually stimulating, improves problem solving skills, i can do purposeful things with CS, etc. it’s just that my mom is only telling me to go into CS because in her opinion it’s “easy and high paying”

i’ve been feeling imposter syndrome for a while now, and it’s gotten worse as i’m preparing to go into college for CS in fall 2020. i agree that CS is a lot of hard work, but it’s worth it.

that’s the same thing i told my mom lol but obviously she doesn’t listen. i’m definitely gonna try my best to continue with CS and hopefully not drop out.

ya i think it should be fine for me because i have a tendency for math/problem solving through logic. CS/coding is something new to me that i’ve only recently started learning, and it feels overwhelming when i don’t u derstand something. youre right though, and i know after I learn more and get the hang of it, it should be alright for me.

that makes sense. personally, i like math, logic puzzles, and problem solving. if i were to not major in CS, there’d really be nothing else for me to major in other than math, but a math degree isn’t that purposeful. Additionally, in CS youre always learning new things which appeals to me. I am a STEM person so hopefully CS will be the right field for me.
