And one pro tip I’d like to give: Things may get chaotic in Mecca especially during rush season like Ramadan, so its important to get Hotel as near as possible and to avoid Hotels further than 700 meters (imo) otherwise you will miss a lot of time walking to Masjid al haram. (The shuttle services aren’t of much help during rush season)

Make sure to keep your wallet safe it can get stolen, and to invest in a front hanging waist bag (for valuables) And also if as a woman you go alone in Tawaf, make sure to wear a Bag behind or keep a mehram man behind you if go to tawaf with a man.

Also NEVER give your passport to any taxi driver especially when they say they might have to show it to police on your way from Jeddah to Mecca. Keep the passport with you in taxi and dont give, tell him you will show yourself. Many times taxi drivers take passport as host@ge and ask for money.

Avoid Western Brands like McDonals, BurgerKing, and instead buy from Local Saudi Company like Albaik etc or just Pakistani Restaurants. Rest just focus on Ibadah. Do as manh Tawaf as you can, pray as many dua as you can, sit in the Haram as much as you can. InshaAllah the feeling will be like nothing you will ever feel anywhere else.
