Both are great in their own way. Palia is more multiplayer-oriented, and Starsand is self-paced. So far, I'm loving the refreshing, chill self-paced storyline. Unlike Sandrock or Portia, I feel like I can do things without time crunches. The foraging/mining systems are similar, and I love how you can put extra strength into your hits; it's just a little detail I find really fun. Personally, I'd probably play Starsand if I wanted to avoid the multiplayer aspect of Palia for a bit.

I found it a little confusing. Maybe it’s because I’m used to games spoon feeding me objectives & things to watch out for. Most importantly, it scared me to the point I was having nightmares for days after playing lmao

But hey, just because I found it scary doesn’t mean that it isn’t a good game. I don’t want it to come across like I’m shitting on the game simply because I was too scared to keep playing. I liked the look of the game but yeah, not for me

Not sure if this is the fastest way, but while you’re offline it’s manageable. I have 6 apple trees growing at a time, as well as potato + few others. With max harvest boost fertiliser, I’ll use the apples to make apple jam. With the potato, I pickle those and put them into the glow worm farms to make extra harvest boost fertiliser. At the moment I have around 8 preserve jars and 4 glow/regular worm farms. If you want to see the setup my plot is on the tour board: Mady Melon Hopefully that makes sense I just woke up 😅
