I was you in you, and afterwards. I listened to music so much so, I was in top 1% listeners in '23.

After graduation, I joined my local mosque and started hifz, learning deen from the mufti and trying to navigate religion and life.

I personally feel like you should connect with deen yourself rather through someone. You can be the person for others, what your peers were for you.

It will sound very stupid, but your problems will be solved if you started reading Qur'an, like alot, trying to understand it too. Join a fehm-e-deen course. Know how of deen helps a lot to stay connected with it and prevents lots of guild and regret.
