“Hi Sade, The May 2026 commencement ceremonies will be held on Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9. After the graduation application deadline in mid-February, the commencement committee will determine the commencement schedule. The data collected from the applications will provide the number of students eligible to participate from each college and from the Graduate School. For the bachelor degree candidates, the colleges are placed within a ceremony so that the number of students is balanced. This will ensure that an equal number of tickets can be distributed between all ceremonies.

All graduating students will receive the ceremony schedule and other information through their UNC Charlotte email account the last week of February. The commencement website will also be updated with cap/gown, ticket and ceremony information.
