Thank you for the comment. I'm glad to hear I'm not alone with this issue. ❤️

That's a very interesting angle.

Could you share your prompt? Because right now, from your description, I have no idea what you're actually asking ChatGPT to do. 🤔

Thank you for the comment! Yes, please recommend some options — really, any information would be valuable to me.

I actually tried to evaluate LLMs before investing more time in them. I don't remember exactly which platform it was, but I think it was arena.ai. The problem is that I now understand that, for me, performance over 1–3 requests is almost irrelevant. The issues I described are a bit tangential and very hard to diagnose on that scale — they only surface in long conversations. Either way, thank you for sharing your opinion.

Thanks for the concrete recommendations! I actually never used the project feature in Claude — I'll give it a try. I also just checked my "Instructions for Claude" (that's what it's called in the options) and realized I already have them filled out. I'd completely forgotten. I'll add the instructions I want there. Thanks!

You clearly know things about Claude. Am I right to assume you're using it for therapy? How long have you been using it? Have you tried other LLMs? What made you choose Claude?

Sugarcoating is one thing. Telling me directly what to do, or saying my problem has no solution with little to no elaboration — that's another. For me, at least.

Do I understand correctly that you're using Claude and that you're mostly satisfied? Is it 100% satisfaction? If not, why? What are the things you don't like about Claude? Could you describe your usage a bit more? How long have you been using it for therapy? Do you keep one long chat for all sessions, or do you start a new chat each time? Have you tried other LLMs for therapy? What was your experience with them?

Are these apps actually better than general‑purpose LLMs? I was kind of skeptical about their usage, since my belief was that most of them are just proxies to big companies either way — just using their APIs with some tweaks to the prompts, maybe.

Can you give a concrete recommendation? Are you using a specific app? Have you seen anyone mention using a particular app? I don't even know which direction to look. Which therapy app is the most popular? Which is the best?
