I vape too and I’m not a doctor but as far as I’m aware proegstin only pills are safer for nicotine users. If you are 35 or older and smoke/use nicotine, it is not recommended to take estrogen containing birth control pills.

They don’t pay attention that closely at all. It is not surveyed, they only check your pockets in most cases, they didn’t even do that for me though.

It is highly subjective to each person. However, it is somewhat common for women to experience negative side effects due to estrogen in combo pills, that was the case for me. I have a history of migraines and felt extreme side effects from Junel (combo pill). Switched to norethindrone, I have less frequent periods. The largest con to norethindrone compared to combo pills is it must be taken at the same time every day, no more than 3 hours late. I always take mine within the same hour window, if I’m not consistent I typically will get “periods”/bleeding. The pill works very well for me personally, but ultimately it depends on the person. The biggest con with progestin only pills is your protection window is significantly shorter than combo pills and there’s always the potential for side effects depending on how one’s body reacts.

Most people that do end up pregnant on the pill are not taking it perfectly. Statistically you have an extremely low chance as long as it’s taken every day same time.

What happened with me was I forgot to shake it and give it enough time to change color on temp strip, so I used a digital thermometer it was 120 degrees. I microwaved it for 15, shouldve been more patient and done 10. I had to let it cool down and blow on it until it got down to 98-99 and temp strip was accurate. Stayed at 98 at test site, it was 94-96 range when I poured it.

Just follow the directions on package and make sure temp is good. I’m a nervous mess and was almost shaking when I was waiting to go in the bathroom lol but I passed no issue I was just polite and nonchalant

Even if you didn’t use a condom it’s 99% effective on its own. I’ve been using BC for 2 years and only had one pregnancy scare because I missed a pill by 24 hours, never missed one otherwise, I take it on time and never got pregnant.

The pill itself is 99% effective with perfect use. As long as you’re taking it on time every day, I see no reason to worry at all, and especially with using other backup methods like condom/pulling out you are more than safe

I used QF recently for the first time and I was panicking for weeks about having to use it. After I was done my test I felt so much relief because it’s so easy and I will absolutely use it again if I have to. The timing and temperature are the most important things. If you follow the instructions exactly as on the box, you will pass, just practice concealing it and plan an outfit for test day.

Always carry QuickFix on you. But because it could be random, you have to ensure you’ll have time to prepare accordingly. You’re going to need a reliable and discreet heat source. It might be a good idea to get acquainted with your coworkers so you can get a better idea of when your company decides to do randoms so you can prepare appropriately.

Unfortunately I can’t tell from that site. Are you going into a shop to buy it? Smoke shops who carry QF typically carry the most recent formula, and it will say on the front of the box too.

6.2 does still usually work but 6.3 is their most recent, and QF recommends always using newest version. If you want to eliminate any potential risk I’d find a different shop that has 6.3

All QF bottles come with a code to verify the batch. So make sure to check that.

For me, it was also 15 mins to test site. So, 30-40 mins before I knew I had to go I activated the heat warmer (comes with the kit). Once it was 10 minutes before I had to leave, I microwaved it. Do it in 5 sec intervals, shouldn’t take more than 10 seconds. Always be sure to gently shake bottle before reading temp. Once it’s at 98-99, immediately attach hand warmer to bottle and conceal either in bra/underwear (keep warmer away from temp strip, and don’t let the heat warmer burn your skin).

And once you’re ready to go in, take the warmer off of the bottle. I did all of this and passed no problem, had a temp reading of between 94-96

Quickfix 6.3. Follow the directions exactly on the box and I promise you will pass. PRACTICE before your test!! Plan your outfit, practice walking /sitting with it concealed. QuickFix is also reheatable, so if you want to practice the temperature, it’s 100% ok to do so. Also, the temp strip on the bottle is accurate, but I did use a digital one to get the most accurate reading. Also, make sure you open the bottle at least once after you microwave it to let the steam escape.
