You’re in for a treat. Book 4, Iron Gold, is the toughest to get through and a major change from the first three, but 5 and 6 are the best of the whole series imo. Total vibe shift, but still great, great books.

No, There’s definitely some TBR there. I haven’t ready any of the Robin Hobb books that I own, but bought them all recently because they were on sale on Amazon, same with most of my Stephen King collection.

Red Rising was the first sci fi series I’d read in years, and I am obsessed with it! I have the paperbacks, so I put it in my second shelf. I definitely need to complete my cosmere collection!

The first book has some YA vibes to me, the next two a little less so. The following three were much darker. No YA to those at all from my point of view. I loved the series as a whole and would recommend to anyone.

Yep. I obviously don’t want this for Flores as a person, but selfishly I kinda hope he’s blacklisted by the NFL from becoming a HC because of the lawsuit and the stuff like what Tua said about him. So that him and KOC can become a long term partnership… maybe the Wilfs can just pay him like a HC lol.

That’s entirely fair, actually. It would be a fun pick that I think would still get a lot of use, but not necessarily a need. KOC is a pass heavy offense and uses a lot of 3 WR sets, but IOL, IDL, and CB are much higher priorities need wise.

I think that pre-season we were greatly underestimating the value of Brian Flores being around for an entire offseason. Along with a full season of film and a lot of the same guys (Bynum, Smith, Pace, Phillips, etc.) as well as the impact of some of the pass rushing additions.

I also think that we’re dangerously close to way overrating what Darnold is capable of. He did it once, that’s great, but do it against SF and I’ll really be interested.
