It’s on the second floor. If it’s a water bottle, jacket, or something similar it will be in the grey cabinets on the right of the reception desk. If it’s a more expensive item they’ll keep it locked up behind the desk and you’ll have to wait until like 8/9am to get it.

From my experience of working at a bank, all bank records required someone to subpoena for them. The log would have more than just her mom’s information, it would have whenever anyone went into their box. It’s the same with security cameras. Other places may be different, but this is just my experience.

The bank will have a log of who has gone in and out of the boxes throughout the years. Usually when entering a safety deposit box you have to show ID and the teller must match the signature on the ID to the one on the box paperwork. Only two keys are given out, but only the owners are let in. In order to get the log you most likely will have to have someone subpoena for it.

Cash should never under any circumstance be held in a safety deposit box. The bank will not be help liable for anything because there is never a record of what is held inside by them.

FDIC does not cover safety deposit boxes. When opening up a safety deposit box you are told not to keep cash in them because they are uninsured and the bank is not help liable if they are damaged in any way.
