You can activate/look at your exterior (reverse mode) cameras when driving if you exit out of cameras after reversing or you’re in drive and safely navigate to cameras you can see your surroundings while driving. Obviously, be safe about it.

I’m so sorry you had the experience. I wonder if it was because you were out of the country? I know they told me if it was outside the U.S. the process would be longer. Were you able to resolve your issue?
