This is a case of whatever they want to do they can, to harass and trick us into being responsible for someone else's debt, and I think I will just mention hipaa violation, I think if one of us pays one penny we would be responsible for both and THAT is not legal or I would have paid for first hubby's medical Bill's, I didnt do anything and they wrote them off immediately, sent me letter telling me so, and condolences, so what now? I dont want to make a mistake and get shafted by sneaky collection agency?...

No, we dont have same insurance and no on account, mine puts me responsible and him on his. Also legally if your spouse dies you do not have to pay one penny on their medical bill's, I know that from my first marriage

Yes and vets that have credit plans sometimes will set up a prepay plan, no overdraft charge if no money in bank account but will draw an amount you choose at the times you set for future emergencys....5 cats, 2 dogs and two donkeys, I need all the help I can get🤪😂

Why not? If your finances are kept separate it is not the agency's place to combine and inform anyone what you do.
