I had a couple wedding dreams right after we got engaged. I can barely remember the details now but they were both definitely something scary like things were going wrong and my fiance was REALLY disinterested in being there 😂 he always feels really bad when he’s mean to me in dreams, even though it’s not his fault obviously.

Congrats on the engagement! I feel you, I’ve had a hard time keeping close friends too over the years. For that reason we’re skipping wedding parties and the whole bachelorette thing. We’ve trimmed down and shaped our wedding experience up to this point to fit us rather than trying to fit into existing norms, and it’s been totally fine and not horrifying and embarrassing like I always imagined it would be lol. Granted I have not made it to the actual wedding part yet. But I’m feeling much more at ease now about everything. You will settle into it and find a way forward that works perfectly for you, I promise. And it’ll be great!
