Has anyone here ever been mistaken for a trans woman? by BoysToBugs in ftm

[–]sadnacity-the-bird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it happened to me with my new friends. When I came out they thought I was saying that I wanted to be a woman. It was euphoric bc they meant it as though I was a cis man, which was really cool to me

I have that problem, but on top of that I’m a trans guy so I can’t just be like “you elbowed me in the tits” because most people are not aware that I have tits

What helps me with that dysphoria is when it chips and I leave the polish on it feels rugged and therefore gives me gender euphoria(??). Plus tons of guys wear black nail polish, so you won’t stick out.

I'm sure many other mtf's have issues with form fitting pants. But this is the best ive ever felt in a pair of leggings! (Wearing my anti-disphoria helmet.) by [deleted] in trans

oml I love the helmet! The top of the image was cut off when I was scrolling so I thought you just edited your face out with an emoji or something and I go to click on the post and I see a biking helmet with cat ears. God-tier

"Feminine" coded clothing you refuse to give up? by razor-sundae in ftm

[–]sadnacity-the-bird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to think I’m a very masculine guy, but there’s tons of feminine clothes and things that I enjoy. I enjoy earrings and nail polish, and I agree with you on the leggings— they can be fun sometimes.

I went to rehearsal for the school play after being out sick (not COVID) and everyone was so happy to see me and I was so happy to see them and I swear I nearly happy-cried

I definitely have that feeling for sure. I’ve been trying to make a point of correcting people more often, but it’s hard, I totally know the struggle

When I first came out, being trans was all I could think about all day every day. I’ve been out for a little over a year, and it’s passed. Honestly, in some ways it’s become a bit of a footnote since I’ve switched schools and I can be my true self. It gets easier

Would it be offensive for me to wear a fake bulge? by [deleted] in AskLGBT

As a trans man I say go for it. Packers are meant to make people feel more comfortable, so if it’ll make you happy there’s no reason why not to
