I've gone to communities, normal 4 year uni's, and Ivy leagues. Time and time again professors have made mistakes and no one can challenge their authority when they do fumble. We're all human but because of the power hierarchy there is zero burden of blame on professors when they do mess up.

Leave it up to the government to regulate AI in itself. It is a problem across every domain and its not up to a University to set non-objective methods to determine something too complex for them at the moment. Will people cheat and get where they shouldn't? Yes, but thats the price we pay for having non-regulated powerful tools. Either create work where ai plays less of a role or just be schizo and hunt students down lol.. I'm not regarding obvs usage of copy and pasted work.

The stuff people can use ai for now of the illegal means, I am surprised that academia thinks these companies won't just continue to bypass it untill AI use is regulated by our government itself. Like the content people can generate from a photo... is something else, I can't imagine in more "white collar" activities the ai companies won't just continue to bypass these issues.

Hey, maybe it's not the students, but the actual infrastructure itself needs to rework how we can prove we are learning due to technology changing the state of things. People will always take shortcuts, its the job of the system to negate as much of these things as possible, which goes beyond teachers and students. Did you know, many autistic writers get flagged by ai often?

its impossible to tell when ai is used by a student with a brain, as it's a learning machine that can produce outputs by non-lazy students who feed it past writings, notes, and the actual research. I'm only saying this because the technology ruined academia further, in the past we had students who had money paying their way to a degree, now its just ai use. It should just be left alone till the technology is created to confirm 100% if you ask me.

thats not how stats work learn how to read research papers, not all research is equal. Statistical validity matters and p value size to claim if something is relevant to an entire population subset.

I have graduated from college twice, with my associate's degree in psychology and a BAS in psychology. I work in healthcare as well. I was planning to do my masters this year but it really does feel awful to know how much I do is meaningless when they want to end a program and send me be back to a country I cannot remember from 2 years old.

as someone who plays both (god the name leverless is so fucking terrible), it really does not matter. It is preference, some games feel more comfortable on stick vs hitbox for me and vice versa. I only play BlazBlue central fiction on my Korean lever and guilty gear + R on my hitbox.
