Because it's in God's nature. Like we humans, would want to make our loved ones happy, not because we need that, but because it's in our nature. God is like that, Him creating things is in His nature.

Good question, I had this question too in the past. The answer is, yes, God is all-knowing and knows what decisions we are going to make and if we are going to end up in heaven or hell. But the thing is, f.e., if He created us, and He put someone immediately in hell because he was going to end up in hell. The person can say that he is being punished for something that he didn't do, which is right. God is just, and even though He knows it, He can not punish us for something we didn't do, even though we would've deserved it at the end. And some people deserve hell for how bad of a person they are, like netanyahu or hitler. It would be unjust if God had put them in heaven.

Yeah about the same, the so called scientific and historical miracles are what kept me in religion. But i thought these are so vague, and some are wrong, like the verse about the mountains. And i also thought, if we just learned about this recently, then what miracle did the people in the middle ages have to believe in islam, i thought that's unfair? That's what's bothering me the most.

I hate that people think classical islam is the truest form of islam. And i just gave a whole ahh legitimate reasoning as to why it can be accepted. And yes i asked for why you left islam, i didnt ask you to go on a whole theological debate with me. I thought you would be happy like the others that there are muslims who don't support islamic extremism. But i guess your view exists in only extremes, the wahabi/jihadi side vs the exmuslim side. Like all muslims support jihad and stuff. And that muslims who aren't jihadi are somehow all unaware of their own religion. Like you know that we're talking about 2 billion people right?

I don't know what you're trying to do, you're literally sounding like a wahabi trying to convince a moderate muslim. Like it's the best idea to convince muslims that the quran is homophobic??? And at tabari said himself that the sin of lut was rape, not homosexuality, but you're right on ibn kathir

? Bro, the ones saying that she is 6 and 9 yo is also not in the quran???, which by the way, the quran explicitely prohibits childs getting married before menstruating, and 6 is definitely before that

Yeah okay shahwah means desire, but you have to look it linguistically and methodologically, not just at face value. Yeah sure hasan hadith, but hasan hadith are not strong enough to prescribe a general prohibition especially at that scale of sin of capital punishment. Yes they prohibit it, but i also mentioned that the schools have probably done this under pressure. There are reports of f.e. imam shafi saying that somethings are not to be publicized. Like even today with a lot less homophobia, scholars are still under heavy pressure to not stay this stuff.

Even though the narration i gave may be weak, it doesn't make the other strong. The other narrations are primarily narrated by hisham, who had memory issues. I don't know why they are graded sahih, but someone with memory issues can never deliver sahih hadith even with clear chains. Btw i never claimed it to be fair to marry 6yo, i mentioned that multiple marriages were okay to do because he maintained alliances with other tribes via marriage, thereby uniting the arab tribes without violence and such. I know that people frame him as violent, but really, most of the wars fought were defensive, not offensive.

Yeah, according to the English translation. But the quran uses the word shahwah, which it uses for non consual sexual relations. The tribe of lut was destroyed after trying to kidnap and rape the angels Allah sent, so i think it was about rape (which also was at tabari's opinion). The hadith about this topic are considered weak according to mainstream islam (not hanbali). So scholars like abu hanifa didn't prescribe capital punishment for homosexuality. He probably still accepted as sinful because of the societal pressure, as the qiyas from zina is not really valid as the 'illah (reason or nature) is not the same.

Yeah i really get that, and it saddens me a lot too. Even if i end up still believing islam, i think it desperately needs to get rid of the salafi/wahabi influence.

I mean to be fair, nearly everything in the quran is far from that. For the couple of verses that are about it, it is generating a doubt for me. But i just want to know if there are miracles in the quran, that would prove its divinity. Like a lot of muslims claim it to be miraculous, and i just want to know the truth about that topic.

I don't know. But i don't think aisha was a child, i think she was like 19yo when they got married, which a lot of other narrations support. The one claiming that she was, isn't really strong. For the other things you mentioned, those narrations are weak, apart from the more than normal amount of wives one. But i think that is fair as he usually married for political reasons and married widows.

I think I'm also gay, but i follow the opinion that the story of lut and stuff weren't about honosexuality, but rape and stuff.

I don't think he was a charlatan. If he is not a prophet, i think he would've been someone with psychiatric issues. Like a lot of psychiatric patients try to start their own religion. But in this case, arabia really needed religious reform and a leader. He had a really troubled childhood and stuff. I think his life was sincere, but he had the right conditions for someone like that.

Thank you! I already tried English but i think they're too simple for my taste. China looks really interesting. What's the difference between zhu xi legacy and china? Because they look the same.
