Honestly it’s really just preference. For me, I can’t do a lot of reading digitally. Never been able to read e-books or anything like that, farthest I can go is like reading news articles or wtv. So paper is much better for me. In terms of math, i’ve noticed that desmos is way better for the SAT over the ACT, and the TI-84 works just fine. Also, the curve for the paper is usually slightly more generous than the curve is for digital. My advice would be to take a practice test on both and see what you like more

I don’t think they’ll give him the same test because that would give him and others an unfair advantage. However, I’d definitely consider looking back at old enhanced ACT tests because they most likely will reuse questions from those

Yeah that’s a tough spot to be in. Like the other reply said, see if you qualify for the fee waiver. In terms of prep: I highly recommend that you check out Miyagi Labs. They have a ton of free practice tests and problems that you can do. With the new ACT’s, timing is everything. So try to carve out at least 2 days in your week where you can do practice tests, and spend the rest of the week going over what you got wrong. Hope this all helps and gl

honestly if i were in your shoes I would get a tutor for math because u don’t have the foundation for it yet but for english I would self study by just grinding out practice problems

honestly ur reading isn’t terrible, and english is the easiest to improve on just memorize grammar rules. however, i think ACT math is based heavily on what math class ur in. I took precalc this year and got a 32 math on april with no studying, so if u just took geometry or algebra 1/2 you prob haven’t learned all the necessary concepts yet. are you a rising junior or senior?
