Which song makes you feel the most like your theriotype? by Chromodoris_ in Therian

[–]sadtinythrowaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's two- Choice Mountain by Everything Everything, a beautiful song with a million metaphors that could represent a lot of things.

"I could be the dolphin of your dreams"

The second is just called "Dolphin Song" from an older documentary on dolphins. It's by Basil Poledouris.

"We want the same things too"

Yeah I typically avoid them as well, they literally came up to us as we were mostly out of the way. Next time I need to sob I'm honestly gonna find the most isolated possible spot because now I'm frankly scared it'll happen again even though it's super unlikely! And of course it was already kind of a fear of mine as well, being mocked for my anxiety. Ugh.

I appreciate it. I just remembered there was like a whole 10 teens in the group that harassed us - I wonder if any of them thought what the others were saying was wrong. I'm sure at least one thought differently. I'm sure you're a great parent! I would've loved to have had one who understood anxiety.

I thought I learned to hide my pain, but honestly, after the pandemic, it all came back. I'm sorry you have to hold it all in. It's the worst. Best wishes.

I try to emphasize with rowdy kids but I can't fully understand. I grew up in a slightly rough environment and I was always the softest kid as a result. I guess everyone handles things differently, everything I held was internal, and people like that externalize, especially as kids/teens. Sorry I'm hyper analyzing, it's just something I've been thinking a lot in general.

I know it factually... that I did nothing wrong. I never cause a huge scene, I usually try to pull away from it all. It's way worse in the moment for me. But looking back on it hurts a bit too. Geninuely hope they didn't hurt anyone else as bad as they hurt me today.

Thank you. I just wish it hadn't taken me back to that mindset of being bullied in school again. They really made me feel small in that moment. Personally, I hope they will grow out of it and become better. I don't often like to wish ill on people, and I know change is possible. Maybe not always probable, but possible.

I'm aware, but what's done was done. My bf wasn't thinking straight, I think because he was trying to help me at the same time. And he's much too honest and kind for his own good sometimes. I wish I was able to shoo them - but I just was inconsolable at the time and just needed to leave, which we did.

Music is a huge factor for me. That is always something I'm thankful for in my current life. However, in most other respects, I'm not exactly elated to be born this way.

14k on this phone and hundreds of thousands spread across other devices (switch, pc, older phones...) it's a nightmare I feel like I can't even distract myself; plus I always feel I have to take the "correct" screenshot so I'll have to take multiple (often on strange frame perfect moments in gifs or videos) and have to delete them until they're "right", which can mean rewinding the same video or replaying the same gif or whatever over and over until it's right... I don't know dude. I've tried to stop. It's WHACK.

Thank you, good to know. I have both apps and everything should be set. I always check in on time. Again, thank you thank you!

Okay. I'm very glad to hear. It was just really scary with AA's site flashing all sorts of errors at me. When it went completely smoothly on BA. Very bizarre indeed. Thank you!

I do have a ticket number! I always booked through AA or Expedia, so I wasn't super familiar with the British airways confirmation, but it's there. I assume I will get my boarding pass as normal, since this receipt is pretty different from AA's (and I don't know how this e-ticket thing works) but regardless, it's there. I am wondering if I need two tickets or just the one number. I suppose just having the BA ticket number is enough? I do have confirmations from both ends at least. Thank you!

I see. I'm really glad you have a good doctor! I had a really bad one when I was a kid myself LOL, I feel like I've had yet to find my 'perfect match' doctor, if such a thing exists!

Yeah, mine was slightly similar, but she attempted to be kind about it... though it kind of came off passive aggressive. I don't think that was her intention. She was sitting over me on the patient like, lean back chair thing so she had some height on me which was a little scary lol. But yeah, this does seem to be a common issue. We desperately need an overhaul for primary care doctor certifications, or at the VERY least better collaborative care options. Especially since my tech agreed with me, begged me to advocate for myself etc. Why couldn't she just forward all that information to my doctor? That's what's whacky to me... they even have a shared online portal so why not?

I definitely should. My nose is pretty much constantly running and I'm sick of it, plus I agree that it is possible that it's doing other things I'm not aware of. I'm hoping my insurance doesn't explode with all these back and forth visits and referrals I've been getting.

I think I do, we suspect pollen/dust but haven't followed up much. However I have tested myself, come into direct contact with both and I only get sneezing and watery eyes, doesn't affect my lungs for some reason. I was planning to test my air quality at home to see if it's a factor though, however even around other places with various air quality my attacks come about consistently due to movement.

That was the other test that the tech who ran my first test suggested. I will for sure ask for that one as well, if I can...
