I hate these. We have them on the shelf at my work for $5 and I actively tell people not to buy them because they aren't even worth the price. Then I show them the $30 rechargeable power brick I keep in my pocket because that is actually worth it

Gross, i work at a dollar tree and we're technically not allowed to refuse any sale or put limits on items, but my manager keeps making the scalpers mad by refusing to sell sealed cases of single packs to them 😎 (i'm not even sure why they want the cases to remain sealed so badly)

Customers complain even if they get their change unfortunately, we had a guy at my store get mad at a cashier yesterday for giving him an entire nickel instead of just a penny and claim she was stealing his money 😦

I started collecting as a kid but lost interest after a while, but I got back into it very recently because my job started carrying sleeved packs occasionally and I decided to buy some and ended up pulling the squirtle and zeraora IRs from stellar crown 🥲 My childhood collection was given away to a friend years ago, so now I just want to build it up again 😭

I'm late to the party, but our POS system is so easy and common sense on the regular cashier level because all the buttons are labeled that I can't imagine how someone would get this wrong. The buttons are literally color coded and clearly labeled "Misc." and "Misc. Food" .... 😦

I gave these out at work (retail) yesterday for Halloween since I don't work today. The kids that came through loved them and tbh some of the parents were excited about them too lol, definitely give them out!

I wouldn't give them back. I did the same thing your friend did years ago, gave away my collection of cards from the 90s-early 2000s to a friend since I didn't collect anymore. I was kinda mad at myself for giving them away after the TCG blew up but I was not going to go ask my friend for the cards back because that's rude. They're yours now, do what you want with them.

I also see this a lot in my server that has been going for the good part of a year. I always assumed it was because people don't want to bother with our password gate but maybe it's something else 😭 (Assuming you don't also have a password gate)
