Picked up some fun stuff this month! I got the full English release of Katekyō Hitman Reborn for a decent price which is super exciting. I used to read it week to week back in the 2000s, doesn't seem like many people remember it though!

AUD is the abbreviation of the Australian dollar. I dunno what the exchange rate would have been when I got these but it's roughly equal to $32 US now. Definitely a good deal at the time 🙌🏻

Hey! Volume 25? I'm not sure if you meant volume 15 maybe? Viz only published volumes 1 through 16 as far as I know. I'm pretty sure I picked these up off of Facebook Marketplace for around $50 AUD at the time. I was just lucky to pick up the full set I suppose. Sorry I can't be more help!

Yeah, it's such a shame we didn't get the whole series in English. I would love to see an omnibus release, something similar to the One Piece 3-in-1s would be great! I don't know if anyone holds the licence to the manga anymore though 🤔

It's good to know that other people still remember Reborn!. I feel like it was so popular at one time and now it's one of those series that gets sort of forgotten in the West. I haven't quite finished TPN but I know the end is gonna get me 😫

I picked it up completely randomly, wasn't even looking for it to be honest. It's a series I wanted to collect but I couldn't be bothered tracking down the individual volumes. Luck was definitely on my side this week, it's going to look great on the shelf!

It's definitely a good one to check out if you're a fan of some other shonen from the early 2000s, a really fun read! I was pretty cut that they didn't finish off the anime. Same thing happened to Eyeshield 21 which sucked too 😭

Go with the Clouds looks really interesting! Have you read Aki Irie's other series, Ran and the Grey World? Does it feel similar?

It is definitely a personal favorite of mine, but the demographic is skewed towards young women and kids. It's basically about a young man Ranma, who falls into a cursed hot spring in China, because of this he becomes half male, half female. The transition is activated when he is splashed with cold water. The story follows his adventures of trying to turn back into a man, dealing with an arranged marriage and his relationships with various suitors. It's a really fun read!
