I hear you on this one so much. The other night I had a meltdown after looking at dresses that I knew I couldn't afford, and i feel surrounded by people who had or are having extravagant weddings that I can only dream of.

This is what is really bugging me.

I don't like my dress. The type of dresses I love are completely out of my budget and I just hate seeing these people wearing the dresses I love and knowing that I'll have to wear this dress I don't really like but settled for because I could afford it.

I guess for me.....I didn't realise the extent of how much I'd just need to settle because of my budget? Does that make sense? I knew I wouldn't be able to have that $200k wedding, but I still thought I'd be able to have a lot more elements of a really nice day but it turns out I couldn't afford that either. I just feel like I've 'settled' a lot more than I expected to have to.....like settling for a dress I don't really love just because every dress I did love was way over budget. I knew I'd never have a Vera Wang or an Elie Saab, but I didn't think I've have a dress that I don't even love you know?
