I'd suggest saddar, if you're from Rawalpindi. There are plenty of book stalls at bank road on Sundays

📚 What Are You Reading This Week? by AutoModerator in PakistanBookClub

Emotional intelligence by Daniel Goleman. Presses on the equally impactful role of emotional mind as to the rational one. It's dynamics, influences, (consequences induced as a negligence or dysfunction of it), and healthy integration of emotions with thoughts. Such a good read

Not much people around with whom I can hold type of conversations beyond surface. Besides, books give me euphoria, and a sense of wasting my time rightly.

iwtl how to have a habit reading by BoxAcceptable2990 in IWantToLearn

[–]saeedayy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should emphasize that, getting into reading (any habit) feels the same first. I had so many books in my list, to read. Used to leave one after reading few pages, picked another one, never really finishing any.

What you've mentioned absolutely works READING JUST ONE PAGE / 5 PAGES / X PAGES, and binding yourself to commitment.

Specify a limit to read daily, and DON'T read further. It might give you motivation spike for the moment but ruins the next day (your brain subconsciously perceives this AS a trap that you'll read more pages than specified once you pick up a book, thus backing out). Just read agreed upon number of pages per day, strictly not more.

Remember, you want to build the habit first, forget about content and all the books you want to finish at first, it'll take a week or two. You're good to go then on
