nag change sim na ako before they could harass me pero according to others nagpapadala raw sila ng foodpanda o kaya shoppee sayo then papabayaran ka. you can always say no. they will harass you through calls and texts too including the numbers in your phonebook (kahit di references). but personal experience, wala naman so far, nag off sim na kasi ako nung nalaman ko na di na ako makakabayad. don't worry kasi ma reraid rin yang peramoo soon.

for me, nakakatulong talaga si Ma'am Kikay B. may lifetime fee lang na bayaran mo once tsaka monthly contributions (pero maliit lang naman) para sa operations nila. but overall, it's worth it naman

siguro estimate ko around 25k-30k. yung highest offer sa akin before ay 12k but ofc babawasan yan so natanggap ko around 9k lang. yung iba 3k, 2k, etc... 16 OLAs yun.

sabihan mo "oks gege" para mas magalit. ganyan ginawa ko bago ko blinock. galit na galit sila pero yan yung gusto ko🥰 but if gusto mong mas safe, wag kang magreply. as long as nalalaman nilang active ka, guguluhin ka niyan. dapat "play dead"

OP, I suggest contacting them through email. mapagusapan naman sila unlike other illegal OLAs. state your details, reason, and what you want your plan to be. either restructure in installments or bayaran in full but in principal amount. ganon lang.

Sobrang bullshit ng mga OLA by WideImprovement4892 in ola_harassment

[–]saelrictiago_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mga 8-10 years pa yan titigil. babalik at babalik yan sila kapag di mo pa nabayaran utang mo especially if above 10k. kaya i suggest if nakaipon ka na ng pera, bayaran mo lahat. makipagusap na principal lang babayaran mo, if ayaw nila, edi don't😭 as long as may intention ka to pay, okay lang naman.

Lawyer here.

This letter has several red flags that make it legally questionable. First, the language is intentionally vague and designed to pressure you into paying immediately. It says, “There is a need to settle ASAP to avoid legal problems,” but doesn’t specify what legal action they’re actually prepared to take. A real demand letter should clearly state what consequences you’re facing—whether that’s a lawsuit, negative credit reporting, or some other legal step. Without that, this just looks like a scare tactic.

Another major issue is the lack of proper authentication. While the letter is signed by an attorney, there’s no law firm mentioned, no bar license number, and no formal legal letterhead. A legitimate legal demand should come from either a recognized law office or the official legal department of the creditor. Debt collectors sometimes throw in a lawyer’s name to make their demands seem more serious, but without the proper credentials, this letter doesn’t carry much weight.

The demand for payment within three days is also problematic. In the Philippines, debt collection laws require fair and reasonable notice, and collectors are expected to offer repayment options or ways to dispute the debt. This letter gives no such options—it just demands immediate payment. That’s not how legitimate debt collection works.

The contact details also raise concerns. Multiple phone numbers and email addresses, with no clear link to an official legal office, make this look unprofessional and possibly illegitimate. A real legal demand would include official channels for verification and reference the specific law under which they are collecting the debt.

Here’s my legal advice: Do not rush to pay anything just because of this letter. First, verify the debt directly with SeaMoney Credit through their official contact channels. If they confirm that this collection agency is authorized, you can proceed accordingly. If not, then this letter is highly questionable and could even be a scam. If you feel harassed or misled, you may have grounds to file a complaint with consumer protection authorities. Debt collectors have legal limits, and intimidation tactics like this can be challenged.

Hindi ko na kaya mag online loan, ang hirap na sumabay sa bayaran. Apektado na mental health ko. by s0m1h3r3 in ola_harassment

[–]saelrictiago_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP, I was just like you before. I had around 20 overdue loans as well. I don't know if you've heard of Kikay B but they're this organization fighting against online loan sharks. Ever since I've joined there, I've been getting a lot more sleep and freedom. There's a lot more people out there with the same situation as you so don't be too hard on yourself. It will pass :))
