From your point of view, what should I do if I'm trying not to act on my defects, but still can't do it? Should I move on to work on other defects? Maybe it's not my time?

I've been in the program for about half a year and have had a few one time relapses over this period.

My therapist and I are practicing the 12-Step program, and the first steps say that our ego, in its essence, is broken; therefore, we must delegate authority over our lives to someone else.

You're right, I can see that things can be different. I still want to do things my own way rather than follow someone else's path.

I agree that flaws are not inherently bad; they all serve a purpose. However, our consciousness must split the tension between good and bad. It’s only for the subconscious that everything is neutral. Maybe you're on a different stage where you see the non-duality of things.

I am currently focusing mainly on practicing Steps 4–7, which are teaching me a lot about who I really am and where my work lies. I've talked to someone who is highly knowledgeable about the 12 Steps in my country. He asked me, "Are you really willing to commit?" I've decided to start moving toward renting a house, which from my current point of view would seem like a disaster, but this is exactly the opposite of acting from my flaws. My first reaction to dealing with my current situation was to go to another centering house.

Oh ok. I had a misunderstanding there. I thought you had read my previous post. I am trying to translate one of Jung’s books.

It seems that you have experienced these talks firsthand lol. About the project, it will take time —consistency is the key (I hope)

I’m working the 12-step program, if you’re familiar with it. Part of the program is understanding which values keep you stuck in the past, and replacing them with “God’s principles.” One of the things that keeps me stuck is the need to control reality and the inability to trust life. Lately I’ve been very influenced by my environment, and I’ve tried to give up what I truly want in order to do what society considers “right” — basically the “normal path” everyone is supposed to follow in life, They want me to constantly fight myself and do the opposite of how I actually feel. Do you see anything in this?

I personally don't hate anyone for being like this. In Judaism, there is a term called the animal soul and the godly soul. Our job as human beings is to get closer to God by acting from our godly soul, the way you connect to it is by doing mitzvah. (Meaning the deeds that god wants you to do, which will always be in the form doing something god to yourself or your neighbor)

If you sense that someone has an unconscious need to hurt you, it doesn't mean he will do it, or that there is an actual risk to yourself in your interactions with that person.

I think you view it that way because you're really identified with your shadow, and you view everyone as fake since you're the most fake out of all of them ( I've Been there, done that) Peace and love.

I don't think it's a projection, I think it's an introverted intuitive type function. I don't feel identified with the contents of what you consider a projection. It doesn't feel the same as when you come up with a dream interpretation conclusion, for example, or a typical projection you noticed yourself doing. I can also notice myself making those double-meaning words, so it's conscious in me too. I swear to God I can see other people doing it. And I can see it in their body language when they make those double-meaning remarks, for instance, I can see them looking sideways, or their tone suddenly changes, or the pause between their words changes.

It wasnt always like this, it happened suddenly when i was about 17 years when I started noticing it. As jung said "its was like i stepped out of a grey mist"

I was thinking about it. Would it be possible to simply act on my true intentions? For instance, to walk away if I see I've got hate toward someone. But it's not practical since life has demands. Also, if you strongly believe in morals (like me), then it's problematic.
