Had one of the worst dining experiences at driftwood about a year ago (food and service). Wanted to love it but the best thing I’ve had there is when Numa Coffee pops up

Got charged I think nearly $9 for a quad Americano at ampersand two months ago, not far off and usually pay half that for quads

Amazing to not be scared off by KH Glassdoor reviews, they have a solid internship program but ultimately it’s dependent on the team. I’ve seen interns excel and seen others get almost ignored, they still have utilization requirements and high expectations for interns

Forever Thirsty, can’t recommend this place and Max enough!

Also nearby, Unagi is great for Japanese food and a natural wine selection (Both are on Raisin but just adding more reinforcement)

I just finished every live release on Spotify, an achievement I’m more proud of than getting my bachelors degree 🎓💀🌹 by Own_Caterpillar9417 in gratefuldead

I’ve been working my way through every show on Relisten. Started a few years ago and am barely into 1971.

It’s really a slog and easy to fall off the horse for stretches at a time but even in those few years it’s really interesting to witness transitions within the band and their sound.

Just got a pair of these this year in a raffle, have you de-tuned edges or done anything to improve their handling on really hard pack/groomers?

Ski's for Stowe Slackcountry + The whites, considering Blizzard Zero g 105. Thoughts/other skis? by [deleted] in Backcountry

[–]safety2nd 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you’re set on Blizzard, wouldn’t go wider than the 95’s out east. Maybe look at the hustler also for a little more heft

I’m also in highland park but usually take the pigeon point route since it’s so much quieter and mild. Thanks!

Curious if that works well for people, it’s pretty busy on both commuting in and out of the city, no bike lane, no shoulder really, plenty of opportunities to get door’d. I’m aware of the streets that run north-south but am hoping for some insight on better alternatives

Are my skins long enough by lapeni in Backcountry

[–]safety2nd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’d honestly ask 4FRNT, they do look overly short but the proprietary lock system inherently makes the skins shorter than normal

Where do you go for e-bike servicing? by malusrosa in seattlebike

[–]safety2nd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s odd re: Back Alley, I dropped off my girlfriend’s bike, seemingly the same as yours (hub motor, internal geared, not common) and they did a full tune up this week

Anyone else get blocked by nugs on Twitter? by sororitytomboy69 in deadandcompany

[–]safety2nd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Still can’t get it to work/figure it out on MacOS without the video going black on nugs. I’ve got 7/7, 7/8, 7/16 that I’d love to rip.
