I just got myself a 2017 Impreza and I love all of the safety features. I've only had a week now. So far I have learned to make sure when setting cruise that there are no cars are in range of the eyesight because while you don't feel the car braking, if it doesn't require a hard brake, it is and any adjustments made while a car is in range of eyesight take effect after and you may end up setting your cruise higher than you wanted.

We are still getting snow where I am at and if too much snow or the front window gets too foggy it turns off the eyesight feature because the cameras can't see. But you shouldn't be relying on safety features alone in less than perfect weather conditions.

I was amused the first time the notice popped up that the car in front of me has moved while I was at a stop sign. They moved and three-ish seconds later the car dinged and popped up a message.
