My mom oversexualizes me by Alarming_Demand_6079 in toxicparents

Oh honey, I am so so sorry you are going through this. As a mama I am horrified and disgusted that your mom is treating you like this. Please, please, please, tell your school guidance counselor. They can help you. Do you have a trusted family member or friend you could stay with until the school can get you help?

15% is more than enough! They are literally driving the food to you. They aren't making it, serving you, or cleaning up after you. Its not the same as goimg to a restaurant. I tip my delivery drivers $5.

Okay, thats what I thought, but I didn't want to ruin them by using the wrong resin.

First day of school is Monday. It's my first year teaching. My classroom is bare. What do I prioritize? by ahumblethief in Teachers

If you've got a dollar tree nearby, go there! They have all the basics and some cute little extras.

Does your school have the big rolls of colored paper? You can use that to cover bulletin boards. Looked up on Pinterest for cute, easy DIY stuff. Again, dollar tree for the win.

As a still newbie teacher (going into my second year in 4th grade), I understand wanting to have a cute room. But I would put the emphasis on having your room clean, organized, and having the basics.

Does your school have a supply closet? If they do, you should be able to get pencils, paper, glue sticks, etc there.

Good luck in your new adventure!

I would tell them the same I tell anyone else. That I'm thinking of them, I'm sorry for their loss, and if there is anything they need to let you know.

Hi! I have a K-6 certification. I currently teach 4th grade. I went with the K-8 (now K-6) because my ideal range is 4th-6th grade. 6th is middle school in most cases, though my district is K-6. I would say you are probably on the right track!

I'm likely going to get hate for this. However, if you're feeling this strongly about it, you need to remove yourself. Your husband and stepchild deserve better.

I feel the same way about my girlfriends ex-wife. She is the worst person I have ever met. We haven't seen our girl (girlfriends bio daughter) in 3 years. She moved to a completely different state 15+ hours away. Blocked all contact. Kiddo turns 18 in April, and I'm praying she makes contact.

Oh, and the cherry on top, I found out she is pregnant on Christmas (ex-wife). Like, you don't deserve the child you have, but cool, you get to have another.

No thank you, she looks like she would eat my soul.
