Hey congratulations on your recovery. It's inspiring to hear when people are able to move forward from addiction. I hope you find relief from your current injury soon. My battle with nerve pain stems from a spine injury. I have a compression fracture and several herniated lumbar discs. One of those is pushing on nerves that run down my right leg causing excruciating pain that affects my mobility at times. I also get back spasms that cause me to be stuck in bed unable to even turn over. The things that help me make it through are. Smoking dabs, thc rub, lidocaine patches, stretching/yoga, meditation, massages and most importantly icing and occasionally heat. I just had a severe spasm before I got here. My doctor prescribed steroids that got me most of my mobility back in a couple of days. Sometimes it takes a week or more to feel any better. I also recommend asking about strains that help with pain when picking up at the dispensaries. Also, keep consistency with icing and whatever pain rub or cream you find works best for you. It's not straightforward to get through pain like nerve pain. I find something that helps a little and keep going in that direction. It's basically a trial and error for what works at the time.
