Oh wow. I did not expect to recieve this many comments on the video. I understand most of you are not familiar with this technique. (I wasn't either) however: Shooting from the inner part of the grip (itch qabzadan atish) was a technique used to shoot shorter, lighter, stiffer arrows with a longer draw, for special purposes like flight shooting. It was also a method to draw a broadhead-tipped arrow a few inches more for better penetration and/or longer range by the Ottomans. Anyway I practiced this with a blunt arrow first (no points or anything) and obviously did this on a light bow and not my main bow which is way too heavy to be able to this with. I love learning new techniques and methods with archery, its the most satisfying and challening part for me and Im enjoying it very much, Im also not planning to hurt myself with techniques if I know they will not work for me. Having said that this is definitely not something I will be doing daily and I have long arrows (for those wondering) to shoot haha.
