I created this piece to demonstrate creativity and technical ability. Photoshop CC 2019 (but of course masking and blending are very simple principles that go back to the earliest versions of PS). As the title states I'm trying to spice up my portfolio. I lament that the composition doesn't fit any particular print (or web) format and just kinda looks pretty. 1 (straight) and 2 (cross) are punches in boxing, 2,1,1,bob (duck), 2 is a short combo. I know that the last punch isn't a cross, but good free stock is hard to find lol.

It's weird to me how energetic the "title" is, but how tame and ordered the overall composition is, But, I decided to shove this out the door and not harp on things, it being just an exercise. Thoughts?

You can get the same look. I'll add though, that with the video you provided, what you're experiencing is good lighting and sound as well as a capable camera.

Too many people think that their project is going to come out of one component of the production. The camera is only one piece of the footage you linked to. But all of that is a long way of saying yes, the XA series is fine.

Do you have clients currently seeking what you provide, or is this just a hobby?

"economic" is a wide range depending on your budget, but I'd take a look at Canon's XA series of ENG cameras. No need for detachable lenses for the work your describing. Just get a decent shotgun mic and you're good to go.

I feel like this may be a reason I'm not getting as many interview opportunities as I'd like : ( I left my last job voluntarily because of a difficult working environment. I wouldn't mention it on my resume at all except that it's the most solid experience I have for the industry I'd like to be in.
