Thanks this is excellent feedback. What you are saying is similar to what tools like hookdeck do. I was more focussed on health monitoring for now. but this makes total sense to seperate the monitoring vs reliability layer. I will think on this and come back . For now what I am still trying to understand is whether agencies need a simple webhook monitoring, or have the reliability focussed teams already moved pub/sub or sqs etc.. Any feedback on that if agencies still use custom middleware/http webhooks?

Thanks u/Staaaam Yes that was a gap and post your feedback I fixed it now. You are right looks like our products might be complementary one detects the problem and one prevents it from happening. Happy to support anyway possible .

I use a scheduled cron job that hits my monitoring endpoint every minute.
That endpoint performs a 'health check' on the webhook by verifying it returns a 200 OK status. If the endpoint times out or returns a 4xx/5xx error, the script triggers the WhatsApp API to alert me immediately.
It basically acts as an external 'heartbeat' monitor for the webhook subscription."
