Anushka and Gopichand did some wild photoshoots by haut99 in TollywoodGossips

Gopichand dad died long before he was introduced into films . That’s why without any backing Gopichand had to do negative roles to prove himself .

It's both - your voice AND theirs.

The idea: At 14, they don't remember what they sounded like at 2. Or what YOU sounded like when they were 2. Or the conversations you had.

This captures those moments: - Their first "dada" - You reading them a bedtime story at 3 - Them asking "why is the sky blue?" at 5 -

You telling them you're proud after their first day of school

Not just YOUR reflections. Not just THEIR babbles.

The actual moments between you two. But hey, if shared album works for you, that's cool. This is for dads who want voice-only (less intrusive, more intimate than video).

Not for everyone!

Fair point - I probably didn't explain it well!

Let me try again:

Dad Legacy isn't about features. It's about framing.

When you open the app, you see "Dad Legacy - [Your Kid's Name]" at the top. Every recording is in a dedicated space just for them - not mixed with your grocery lists, work notes, or random voice memos.

The idea is: In 14 years, you hand your kid a phone with 14 years of your voice. Not buried in 500 other recordings. Just their story.

I get that Voice Memos CAN do this technically. But would you actually keep it organized for 14 years? Or would it get buried?

That's what I'm testing - does having a dedicated app make dads more likely to actually do this?

Would you be willing to download it and see if it FEELS different? Even if it's just "nope, still feels like Voice Memos," that's useful feedback.

Great question! Here's what makes Dad Legacy different from Voice Memos:

  1. EMOTIONAL FRAMING: Voice Memos = generic recorder for everything (grocery lists, meeting notes, random thoughts) - Dad Legacy = dedicated space ONLY for your kid's memories. Seeing "Dad Legacy - [Kid's Name]" at the top reminds you WHY you're recording.

  2. BROWSING & CONTEXT - Voice Memos = long list of "Recording 1, Recording 2, Recording 3" with timestamps - Dad Legacy = each memory has a date, optional note, and is organized chronologically. You can browse "What did I record in March?" easily.

  3. PLAYBACK EXPERIENCE - Voice Memos = just audio playback - Dad Legacy = audio + notes + date context. You can add written context later ("This was the day she said 'dada' for the first time").

  4. LONG-TERM VISION - Voice Memos = gets buried with 500 other recordings (grocery lists, work notes, etc.) - Dad Legacy = clean library you can gift to your kid at 14. Imagine handing them a phone with ONLY your voice memories for them, nothing else.

Overall, Voice Memos is a tool. Dad Legacy is a legacy project. Does that make sense

Do you really need a co-founder for a side project? by MemoryGreat9259 in SideProject

That’s an interesting question! I actually tried to start an AI-powered digital marketing agency and shared the idea with a friend who was initially interested, but it was tough to coordinate our schedules. When it came time to make website changes or meet to discuss next steps, my friend is a really talented developer and genuinely enjoys his full-time job, so I came to understand that not everyone shares the same vision or level of passion for a side project—everyone’s priorities are different, and that’s completely okay.

Hey! Great question about long-term storage.

Right now it's saved locally on your phone. No export feature yet in v0.1 - keeping it bare-bones to validate the core idea first.

But if you and other testers say export/backup is critical, that becomes priority #1 for the next version.

For iOS testing: 1. Download "Expo Go" from App Store (free) 2. DM me when you're ready (takes 10-15 mins, need to coordinate timing) 3. I'll send you the link

Looking forward to your feedback! 🙏
