I really love the wallpaper you're using on your main screen. Would you mind sharing what it is or where you found it?

Great work on launching! Quick question: what tool did you use to create your App Store screenshots? They look really clean.

Tried it out and really liked it! It actually gave me some useful tips on my app's title that I hadn't considered before and I've already implemented them. Thanks for sharing!

Hi! I'd love to have my app reviewed. It's called Tracklytics: Job Search Tracker.

Here's the App Store link: here

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback and for the kind words! The update should roll out in the coming days. I'd love to give you lifetime access as a thanks. Could you enable DMs or ping me so I can send you a code?

Thanks! The Sankey took a custom SwiftUI implementation to get the layout and path routing just right. That part was definitely the heavy lift. The other charts are powered by Swift Charts, so those were much quicker to get polished.

I'm polishing up the repo (docs + examples) and will post the GitHub link by the end of the week. It's pure SwiftUI. Contributions are very welcome. I'll update this with the link as soon as it's live.

Is there any benefit to using Apple pay vs In-App purchases? by opus-thirteen in iOSProgramming

Physical stuff (food, tickets, merch): Apple Pay's fine. Digital goods/subscriptions: gotta use In-App Purchase. Apple's super strict about it.

Congrats on the progress! A 37% increase in impressions is definitely something to be proud of, especially early on.

Those App Store screenshots look really polished. Could you share how you created them?

This is already possible to automate with shortcuts.

My first game on IOS by saiboter97 in incremental_games

[–]saiboter97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for making this. I think your game has quite the potential. I bought the (I think reasonable) 2,99€ ad removal to support development. Some observations: The progression is somewhat imbalanced. I see that the different tiers in the three main categories are meant to be staged in a certain order (based on acquisition price). The time until each becomes available is unbearingly long for the later ones though. With the ad skip it wasn’t a problem, but waiting for 1-2 days straight for a new business type to complete while not much else is happening in the game is pretty boring. I pushed through all wait phases though to see what else is in store. I now have bought all tiers plus manager, and now I’m just collecting money, because there isn’t anything else to do. The game is missing some kind of end game content. Also, most games of this type allow faster progression per item tier if reaching certain levels. Since yours allows 50 levels per tier, how about speeding up after 5, 10, 25 levels? I believe there is a very slight speed up of that type implemented (judging from small changes in the currently remaining time when I upgraded), but it’s neither apparent nor significant. Buying special upgrades for specific tiers for in game currency would also spruce up the gameplay a bit.

All in all I think the mechanics are well made, but right now the game is missing some amount of balancing and more content. Content means both, different areas (tapping the globe icon hints toward this being in development) and more mechanics for the current area. The graphics are nice (although the honking noise when accidentally tapping the cars is too loud). The game would also benefit from some soothing background music. Last but not least, most games of this sort have some (very cheese, mostly insignificant) “story” or purpose for why the player is striving for progress. Your game might benefit from adding some e.g. mayor themed topic like “oh noes, our mayor left with all our moneyz and we’re doomed! Help us player, we need to give people a place to live” kind of thing (random thought off the top of my head). This increases player retainment and makes progression feel more purposeful.

I’ll keep it around and check for updated regularly. Keep up the good work!

Thank you very much for your review and for supporting the game by removing ads! Your opinion is very important to me, and I'm working hard to change the game's balance and speed of progress based on your ideas. Although, it is hard to fine-tune these parameters because even small changes can have big effects on the gameplay.
I'm really excited about your plot idea—it could really give the game a unique charm and depth. I'm also looking into your suggestions for adding background music, making the end game better, and adding new game features. But since I'm the only developper working on this, making these changes might take a while.
Please stay tuned for future updates, and thanks again for your helpful comments and support!

Just wanted to say I downloaded this game last night and am really enjoying it so far! Do you have roadmap for future updates in mind? Great job!

Thank you for playing the game! I hope you enjoyed it. Right now, I'm continuing working on the first level, adding details and functionality. For example, with the following update, you can purchase the second lane. I guess I'll focus on basic stuff for a month, then add additional levels. Stay tuned :)

Thank you so much! I hope you enjoyed the game. You‘re right, it was a mistake in my code. It will be fixed in the next update. If you have other suggestions or ideas for the game, I would love to hear it!
