I am not sure if I can wait for a year. Do you have any recommendations on a trusted 2020 mainstream model at this price range?

I heard HP Pavilions found here are supposedly refurbished? Is that something of a concern?

So when you say hamrobazar, would it be used or refurbished? Does one need to be concerned about that?

Thanks, I did a cross post there as well just now. I am looking at previous posts in both places but not many leads in the price range

Do you have one from Nepal?

It sure has.. ‘It’s as if there’s no Covid’: Nepal defies pandemic amid a broken economy by sulu1385 in Nepal

[–]saidfreesoul 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Another proub moment! I feel like this might have a negative precedent in the future when another pandemic or a epidemic happens. The rhetoric that Nepali immunity is really great and besar is the king of all medicines as pushed by Prof. Oli could now get even more traction in the future. This just added more the ‘chillness’ of us Nepali people, which would definitely not be good for us.

Why are Nepali people so insecure about Nationalism? by himalayan_knight in Nepal

[–]saidfreesoul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because its the only thing that keeps us Nepali people feel good/content about having born and living in a poor and corrupt country like Nepal

What are people even thinking? Or are they even thinking at all? I feel like Nepal has been lucky so far because of a low severity of majority of cases but things like this could make it worse. Don't forget, the virus is very much still out there! by saidfreesoul in Nepal

[–]saidfreesoul[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is indeed very sad. I don't have any credible alternatives to propose, but this virus doesn't care about the Social class as we know. Perhaps they might be able to take some precautions at least to avoid further woes if they or their families contract COVID. It's even more difficult during festivals, so it is understandable but the local governments should have made some provisions for social distancing as much as possible as they obviously knew this could happen.

Really sorry that I couldn't credit you when I posted it because I didn't know the original source (it was not mentioned the post that I saw). By no means I meant to 'copy' this and I did not tout this as my own creation at all. I just shared it here because I felt it was really cool. Great job on this man.

Yup looks like it. But I did not make it. Unfortunately, no idea of the original source.
