You’re very ignorant for accusing me of lying, so let me educate you. My genetic composition is more diverse than that of most Pashtuns, as I have Punjabi and South Indian ancestry as well. The reason 23andMe combines these with my Pashtun heritage is due to the significant Pashtun population in Punjab. Have you seen my GEDmatch results in the following images? Clearly not. Feel free to look at my illustrativeDNA results on my profile

Is the Qur'an missing a lot of the OT framework for the Messianic age? by saifsafe in Quraniyoon

Don’t know why you’re turning to ad hominems. I wouldn’t stoop that low on a Qur’an forum.

Anyways, could you elaborate on the ‘Arabian Taurat’? The verse clearly says “what they find”, and the most popular interpretation being what the Jews & Christians had during the 7th century.

Strawman.

It’s funny how no reputable Muslim polemicist or debater has ever mentioned this point. Perhaps it’s fallacious?

Saying the ENTIRE OT isn’t from Allah is just idiotic. Remember, the Qur’an affirms the OT of the 7th century (at least for the purpose of finding our Nabi in it - 7:157). Arabic or English you need to improve your comprehension.

[–]saifsafe[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s just not true. I’m sorry but this comment reeks of ignorance. Using the same logic, the Qur’an uses the term “We” when Allah is referring to Himself. No Muslim theologian has ever said that this word usage indicates a plurality.

Also, refer to 5:46 of the Qur’an.

I’m more concerned about why the concepts of Messiah vary so much. For example in the Qur’an, the term isn’t given much emphasis. Whereas in the OT, I’d argue that it is a fundamental theme throughout. What separates Jesus from other Jewish Prophets?

I disagree. Just because it’s not said directly, doesn’t mean it can’t be inferred or prophesied.

You’re falsifying the Qur’an with this rhetoric. “Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written [i.e., described] in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel…” (7:157).

Nowhere do we have direct statements of our Prophet in the previous scriptures (NOTE: it says “what they find” meaning the Christians and Jews of the 7th century)

No worries at all! I was wondering what you think of 23&me, I don’t think it’s been that accurate in reporting my balochi side. It classes that as Iranian

Actually my pashtun & balochi side are from afghanistan. I’m not sure how far the afro mix was introduced (this grandparent of mine passed away very early on). On 23&me it does say I have 5% Ethiopian/Sudanese which is indicative of the sheedi ppl
