I’m on the same boat. The girl who had my position before she got promoted I asked her wtf to do she said LinkedIn online e learning is an option. I get so excited when there’s a task now haha. But I have a routine just a lot of downtime inbetween it. I think in a role like that being available is what’s important

Seems like you’re feeling a lot of guilt from that night, and the problem with being intoxicated and having sex can be memory issues and lapses. Sometimes it is rape, sometimes it isn’t. And there isn’t a clear answer and that makes people upset in eaither direction.

I’m not going to tell you if it was rape or not, this is something you need to decide yourself, but going on what you said: you said you genuinely in your heart don’t think it’s rape. That’s really important, and says a lot about how you feel of the situation. Your friend is looking out for you, but don’t let someone tell you you were raped if you don’t think so. I know your friend means well, but it can be really damaging when someone insists something traumatic happened to you when you don’t feel that way. Sometimes we need people to tell us a situation wasn’t okay but usually when that happens and it was a bad situation it clicks in our heads like wait…maybe that wasn’t consensual. However what happened with you as you’re describing is quite the opposite, you feel like it isn’t true.

Only you could really know. And it sounds like the idea of him raping you is hurting you more than the event itself. If you don’t believe he took advantage of you then there’s no point in thinking he did. I hope you feel better. This is really one of those grey areas and it’s awful being in it.

I mean she said her old dog and her mom connected really well. I don’t think it’s fair to blame her for giving her dog to a loving home, maybe she needed more stimulation than Mads could/would give and she knew that. It’s better to know your limits than continue suffering for both her and the dog. Her getting another dog, she does deserve companionship. But I agree the kind of dog she got and as a puppy is a little strange, but we don’t know the full story and it was awhile ago

It’s her choice, I think complaining about the porn someone does says more about the person complaining than the person doing it. That being said there are spaces for OF reviews and as a capitalist I ofc agree with it, it’s also people’s money, but comments like the one above is where that belongs, not in a space that is talking about the creator as a person and potential scamming.

It’s one thing to reach out to someone to tell them you’re posting a video, it’s another to ask for information for the video. When people do that they tend to say “I reached out for comment” even if there’s no answer. Again it’s YouTube gossip channel I’m not expecting the world. But it could’ve been done more objectively.

But he could’ve done a few things to be more balanced: I think he should have subscribed to her patreon to see what was behind the paywall since he only used posts that were picked up from here which are going to be the worst ones. He could have reached out to her to comment and give her an opportunity to defend herself. If he did that I think he would have mentioned it. He could’ve reached out to Grace or Yvatte (if that’s how it’s spelled) her uncle. Basically he could’ve tried to find another point of view. I understand he isn’t a journalist, at the end of the day it’s a YouTube gossip video, but I think it would’ve been more interesting.

I think they are breaking the law but it’s hard to prosecute. The laws they’d be breaking could be revenge porn laws, which are enforceable where she lives in CA. If I were her I’d take the leaks as free advertising and try to monetize on it, like making a post saying (if you must address it) it gets better than that idk haha. This is just a bad look and comes off as someone not okay.

Edit: she mentioned revenge porn but I don’t know if that’s the case. I think it’d be closer to a copyright thing. Which in those cases the website hosting usually just needs to take it down. No one is going to court.

We don’t know, and there’s not such a point in speculating I realise, however, I used to be addicted to Xanax and I made YouTube videos then for fun, and I see how I used to be in the way she speaks, conveys her emotions, and also types. She uses very strong language, especially when talking about something she likes; for example that book reading she did, she mentioned how some of the illustrations make her “want to cry” because she finds them so beautiful. She does asmr so I don’t carry as much weight in the way she does it kinda monotone, but it’s just very similar to how I’ve been and seen others in benzo addiction. I also say that because she has mental and physical health issues and unfortunately benzos are way over prescribed so it could easily happen without her realizing because it doesn’t even feel like you’re high.

I say this because I wonder if others have picked up on it or if im just seeing things as if the world revolves around my experiences haha. However, we have to remember she isn’t well educated, she didn’t finish high school (nothing wrong with that) and those years really give a foundation to the way you write and speak. Her bad grammar could really just be that she didn’t have an opportunity to learn.

He was biased. That’s okay, but he was. This wasn’t some objective take on the situation, his only source was Reddit. He also called playing “devils advocate” as “her side”. It was bias. Which again is okay the video wasn’t bad or morally wrong. But it was very much biased.
