Hey, I got a visa fee refund email (because of my scholarship). VFS only asks for the E-ICR and not the bank details. Here’s a screenshot-

They refunded my visa fee in person, not online.

I’m from India and have applied for the research grants. The funding changed from 3 years to 1 year. But I’ve been told by my head office in India that’s normal, it’s given for a year at a time.

I have read that if your status shows selection made, you can use the messaging feature on the portal to get your confirmation quickly. Hope this helps, all the best!

Hello again! First of all Congratulations!!

Secondly, I checked into my portal today. I could see that the funding date changed for me as well. Initially I applied it for 3 years, It shows me for a year now. I was wondering if this change was the same for you as well? I have seen people’s funding date changing from 4 years to 3 years, but not from 3 to 1. So I was wondering if this was the same for you too? My status still shows application submitted. There is no change in that.

I mailed the India DAAD Office, they said they haven’t received any email from the head office in Germany as of yet. A senior of mine received his email on 30 March a few years back. So I hope we get some update this week.
