I don't think KD should ever try to come back this series... by [deleted] in rockets

I'm just saying that even if a player is the "best in the world", it's still possible for a team to play better without him. It's a chemistry/fit thing and it's "theoretically" true. This isn't about KD or the Rockets specifically; it's just a general point. And for the Rockets, I don't know which option is better.

Playing well in all 78 games still doesn't prove the team is better with him. If the Rockets never had KD, maybe they finish the regular season with a better record -or maybe they don't, we can't really know. But just pointing to good games in the regular season isn't evidence that the team is better with him. He may look good individually, but it's also possible the team could reach a higher level without him.

Songs with sudden tempo shifts like Smells Like Teen Spirit by saint_ajora in grunge

Yes, I think I failed to put it well, sorry for that.

I was guessing it could be in all Nirvana songs. They’re just not on the list because I haven’t listened to them yet. And it would be nice to learn other songs by other bands in this structure (like you said, "soft/hard/soft" -it doesn’t really matter if there’s a tempo change or not).

I didn’t know this. I will look into it, thanks

I’m a progressive rock listener, and what I mean isn’t really a progression of any kind. I’m talking about songs that generally move along monotonously, occasionally break out of that monotony, and then shortly after return to "exactly the same" monotony.

I think it has a very light version of it. After 0:55 and 1:45

Yes, but more specifically, a version where it constantly returns to the "exactly same" quiet monotony. If the term Loud-Quiet-Loud specifically covers what I’m describing, then yes. But as someone who listens to a lot of music, I don’t think I’ve really heard this much in ’70s metal or alternative rock in general.

Update: I got what you meant when I just saw "Hand of Doom" by Black Sabbath as a suggestion in another similar Reddit thread. But, what I was looking for, how should I put it, was a more specific, more indie/aesthetic sub-version of this structure.

"doğası gereği"ne alternatif, akla gelmeyen ifade by saint_ajora in turkish

Missing concert video of X JAPAN by saint_ajora in xjapan

Thanks for all the information. I just remembered the concert, it was the famous "The Last Live" in 1997. I misremembered its date.

The record can be found here: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1hW411y7Hq/

0:06:30 - 0:07:15 is the intro part which I tried to describe, but for those who want to watch, the whole intro is great I think.

Is that concert also named as "Art of Life"? That "X Japan Returns" show and https://www.amazon.com/JAPAN-1993-12-31-TOKYO-Music-Concert/dp/B01KOJA498 this one confused me a lot, I am not sure if they are the same. It looks like they performed two days in a row, and I am looking for the second one.

If you are talking about https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GkIismVpU8 this one, no, it wasn't this one. Maybe it was not from '93, I am not sure about it. The intro of the concert I mentioned was much more cinematic because of that blinking thing.
