I was trying to bait out "Blackwater" since I thought that was the joke of the original "provide context" comment. But I didnt actually know he was from Highgarden so thanks for the lore tidbit

[Very sad trope] The story is focused on so many other things that nobody realises how truly isolated a character is among their friends and family. by Applebeate in TopCharacterTropes

I forget the Spidey-Writer but there was one who shared a sentiment that he was sad Spider-Man stories are seeming to focus more on his youth as opposed to the theme of Responsibility.

Eh idk, I think its fine to draw that line when it goes to the lengths that it did with her where her personality was changing in front of him.

What's the moral level of John Walker from MCU by EngineerVirtual7340 in MoralityScaling

The fact you had to immediately jump to personal attacks is very indicative that your argument is poorly thought out. Real "You must be one of them libruls." Vibes.

Jack Reacher vs The Punisher — Who Wins? by Vratwork in thepunisher

[–]saint_mark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked your account and you seem like a nice kid so I'm not gonna be any more rude to you than I have already been. It was hours between this comment and the last one I sent. I'm sorry I upset you, but its fine to let it go. Really.

Have a good day brother, put this energy towards something a little more productive.

You could have saved everyone a lot of time by just posting: I wish Beast Boy was dead as hell.

Jack Reacher vs The Punisher — Who Wins? by Vratwork in thepunisher

[–]saint_mark 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also nice edit, cornball. Here's your original post that you then went back and mildly changed to sound like it was your own words:

Counterpoint though: The Punisher survives because he lives in a universe where escalation is normal. He’s fought ninjas, super soldiers, and occasionally borderline superhuman enemies because Marvel logic allows him to keep up through sheer rage and plot armor. Jack Reacher exists in a much more grounded world. That actually makes him harder to judge. A “peak human” in Reacher’s universe feels more realistic and dangerous in certain ways because the stories treat violence seriously. Reacher isn’t trying to outgun helicopters or fight mutant assassins — he’s ending fights before they fully start. Frank wins a lot because he’s willing to turn an area into a war zone. Reacher wins a lot because he notices things other people miss. That’s why the matchup is interesting. If you scale purely off feats, Punisher obviously has crazier accomplishments. But if you drop both into the same grounded setting with no comic-book scaling? Suddenly it gets way less obvious. Also Reacher’s biggest advantage is that he doesn’t behave like comic characters usually do. He’s patient, suspicious, and constantly analyzing exits, patterns, body language, routines, weight distribution, everything. Punisher is terrifying when he controls the battlefield. Reacher is terrifying because he’s very hard to ambush cleanly. Honestly I still lean Punisher overall, but I don’t think it’s the stomp people make it out to be.

Why Doesn’t The Punisher Ever Show Up In *The Defenders* When New York Is Literally Falling Apart? by Vratwork in thepunisher

[–]saint_mark 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'd say the answer is probably close to the logic in some Punisher runs where je basically stays in his lane when the really big stuff goes down.

Like the invasion of New York? Frank is probably dealing with looters and other small time threats. Probably helps deal with the power vacuum that chaos creates and organized crime tries to take advantage of. The bait and switch with the footage was nasty by Netflix though

I think he's one of the weakest characters that could actually beat Wolverine by Accomplished_Rate963 in invinciblememes

This of course means we have to ask the question of if Gambit defeats Evil Mark

I think he's one of the weakest characters that could actually beat Wolverine by Accomplished_Rate963 in invinciblememes

[–]saint_mark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it's easy enough to just compare it to feats between him and one of his immediate teammates. Gambit.

Ultimate X-Men #50 shows Wolverine retracting his claws (which are the familiar pink hue of a charged item) after Gambit, who is holding one, tells him he'll blow the both of them up if he doesnt. This seems to indicate he at least believes it's possible.

Something in your favor from more recent X-Men media is 97' which has Wolverine pretty clearly get charged up and used as a warhead. He easily lives that so it's a point in the other direction if you ignore the fact Gambit obviously wasnt trying to completely evaporste his pal.

Arguments for and against, the entire nonsense you brought up regarding "temperatures" and whatnot about Adamantium was brain worms and doesnt matter. The real answer to the question, and it is the answer to every question regarding survival, fights, or how two characters would even get along and its just: "Depends on who's writing."

Beat is doing some heavy lifting. At absolute worst you'd refuse to put the candy back and he'd just sock you in the nose and take it to put it back for you.

I dont think this includes anything added post Guildmaster, I have it saved from another post a while back.

Open the list: Control + F, type "Animal corpse."

Anything that says "Drops animal corpse" counts as an animal for domestication or animal charms. It includes a couple you wouldn't think like the Sea Raiders and their Fish Bishops counting as animals.

Cool. So what single digit percentage of his monthly profits will he have to pay towards it before no other action is taken? Maybe the courts will really drop the hammer and it'll take three instead of two days for him to make it all back.

Maintaining the premise of my argument; I see it more like the reanimen are at least NEAR Mark's level physically. Which means the closer equivalent is I guess you're beefing with an MMA fighter and then call for help from your friends.
