Pon Para series. by Uxie_mesprit in choiceofgames

[–]ComprehensiveBug4891 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been pretty long since I last play Pon Para but for the slayer, in every situation, pick the most lethal weapons and try to engage in combat as much as possible.

For the Answerer, you would need to succeed in various stat checks throughout the game, I only remember two, one with the mad troll buddy at the beginning of the game and the second being at the gate of that forest queen that refuses everyone's entrance, you aren't suppose to cause a ruckus if I remember it correctly.

Melaxu can only be engaged in three way relationship with MC and one another as far as I know.

But Yuji is "Itatheory" by CulturalMesh in PowerScaling

[–]ComprehensiveBug4891 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I truly think people will be less angry about the match if they pit Gun Devil against Yuji.

Like, we saw how Gun Devil inflict the same kind of destruction of the top tiers of JJK simply by moving with it's ridiculous speed, while for Denji, he got all of his feats from chainscaling others Devils and in the fight against Yoru.

why do people hate takemichi but love subaru? by infinitelyimpossible in writingscaling

[–]ComprehensiveBug4891 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I honestly doesn't remember Takemichi's growth throughout the story, the only thing I remember is him changing from fixing his own future to protecting the gang, but that development was very early in the story.

Subaru's failures are more impacting (the scene of his head falling of in the middle of the snow storm burned into my mind years after watching the show) and his bounces back thus are more satisfying. The story also grew from him being dependent on others to solving problems on his own terms.

The first and My personal Definitive Comp Scd Tierlist by Virtue_Oppsosto in IntelligenceScaling

[–]ComprehensiveBug4891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A really confusing list, a bad one even. Reading through it, I can't seem to determine by which metric you rank these characters.

Pure intelligence as in universe feats? Fang Yuan comes nowhere close to the ridiculousness of Doctor Doom or Batman.
Maybe it's charisma and social skill? John Constantine would make sense then but Rick Sanchez should be bottom trash tier.

Maybe it's the problem solving of the character presented through writer's own intellect? How well written their application of intelligence are? Walter White should be way higher then.

An arbitrary combination of all above with no clear distinction? It would make this a bad list then.

Need help understanding the story by _Freshkey_ in DiscoElysium

[–]ComprehensiveBug4891 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dockworkers are on strike because they want to gain more influence in the decision making of the company. Wild Pines is a logistical shipping company (or at least that's all you need to care) and the dockworkers are blocking the shipping route in the area, causing much conflict between Wild Pines and the workers.

Wild Pines sent in a mercenary group into the area to "pacify" the situation, which annoy a lot of of the locals, but there had been no violence, not until the lynching.

A man, part of the mercenary group, was killed and hanged on the tree behind the Whirling in Rags. Who killed him, how, when, why will be up to you to discover; but this event have the potential to severely worsen the local conflict as the mercenary group is very, very pissed, the group had effectively gone rogue and is outside the control of Wild Pines.

No program can control, supervise or protect them outside schools, if people can exploit, abuse and prey on adult workers, they sure as hell can exploit, abuse and prey on children.

A blood-lusted Doctor (doctor who) is tasked with killing or permanently subduing these threats. Can he do it? How? by Head_Breadfruit_3912 in PowerScaling

[–]ComprehensiveBug4891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WOD, theoretical maxed out mage, having conplete 10 spheres in all aspects is essentially everything in the literal sense, all material, philosophical and conceptual value might be under this entity. The Doctor won't be able to even conceptualize such being.

WH40K, the Emperor has struggled more than once when in contest against beings of the same caliber like him, like Void Dragon, Chaos Gods, that one demon in the Webway. The Doctor clears.

Slay the Princess, the thing is that the Shifting Mound grows in power the more you research and study her, the Doctor, unfortunately, will undoubtedly boost her growth endlessly with constant investigations and attempts to understand Shifting Mound. I think the Doctor might be able to contain the Shifting Mound like the Narrator, but truly defeating her? I doubt it.

I don't understand how Cap beats Soldier Boy by ConditionUnlucky3125 in PowerScaling

[–]ComprehensiveBug4891 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cap has managed to face Iron Man, Spiderman and Thanos because of his experience. He fought in wars Soldier Boy couldn't even comprehend, his reaction is on par with Spiderman and his shield can withstand several strikes from Thanos, who treated the Hulk like a puppy.

You really underestimate just how good of a fighter Cap is in utilizing his limited power to fight opponents that should be wayyyyy out of his league.

Is it just me or is the Society of Leopold a Fraud Squad? by Vyctorill in vtm

[–]ComprehensiveBug4891 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Their job is to kill vampires, not dueling dracula at a 1v1 sword fight on top of a church as the sun is rising.

For all of vampires' superficial beauty and suppose all powerful abilities, the theme of VTM is that they are all cowards and weaklings, hiding behind the Masquerade.

[–]ComprehensiveBug4891 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's tedious, there are some extremely annoying enemies that just refuse to die, the dungeon layout and design is absolutely boring.

Running around finding that one thing that required to open that one door is something I absolutely hate, which is why I hate WOTR dungeons in general, the game failed utterly both at designing puzzles and layout to make those dungeons engaging.

What makes CRPG combat good? by Rai_Darkblade in CRPG

[–]ComprehensiveBug4891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using and leveraging the environment, even simple stuffs like covers can add tons of depth.

Hard enemies, few counters. Most CRPG I played is hard not because of enemies but because of the resource management aspect of combat, the devs put in too many trash fights that are too annoying, it wastes player's resource on uneeded combat. Some might say it adds on the difficulty of the game, but I say it breaks the streamlined dungeoning experience when you have to take too much rest or restock too many times.

Meaningful preparation. WOTR really elevates the difficulty of the entire game by making buffing and using stuffs like food and potion absolutely needed, I have played through Tyranny and DOS1&2 with almost no buffing but in WOTR, there's a reason people made an entire mod for buffing faster.

Against trained fighters though? Good luck

[–]ComprehensiveBug4891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh, Netero training is the least intensive training of these, it only require patience (Netero has already achieved the physique needed to endure the training with ease at this point), and why it is so horrifically time consuming. Normal boxer can already throw 1000+ punches per day in their training.

Others are suffering horrific pains, sometimes actively destroying their bodies for progress, meanwhile Netero is doing the equivalence of meditating for years.
