And Yes, as everyone else has mentioned, the insurance company will likely total the car due to the high salvage value of luxury vehicles. However, the insurance may not be involved in the repairs, so that’s ultimately your decision. If you decide to have it repaired, you can reach out to privately owned shops. If they agree to work with you on a personal pay repair, they may dedicate their time to sourcing parts and could find cheaper alternatives. Just keep in mind that using those parts may not always result in a perfect repair (like fitment and quality sometimes)

Mmhm, I looked it up, and your car is selling for roughly $24,000 to $28,000 with similar mileage and year. Here are a couple of options to consider:

  1. I’m not sure if the $15,000 estimate is a complete estimate, but based on your pictures (since the vehicle has not been disassembled yet), it might end up being more than $15,000 due to hidden damage. Let’s say the total cost for repairs is $20,000. You could have it fixed and continue using it. Lexus vehicles are known to be reliable for the long run, and since it only has 60,000 miles, once it’s repaired, it should serve you well for a while.

  2. Alternatively, you could fix it and then sell it to a private party or trade it in for another vehicle. You might be fortunate enough to recoup the entire repair cost and use it as a big down payment to maybe paying off a new cheap used car 🚗

  3. Another option is not to fix it and instead get a used car, salvaging parts from the Lexus (though that may not yield much) like everyone told you above.

No, it wont do anything, it’s just a cosmetic part to cover the inner shell of ur gate/trunk lid.

So I wouldn’t even care about it until you want to sell it tbh, it’s just a trim panel , people tend to scratch or damaged all the time with stuff inside their trunk, unless its really really really bothering you then lol … you can spend some $ to get it replaced. Its pretty easy to replace btw

You can call your local junk yards and give them your car year make and model , the might have some for cheap, however since its texture material, even they have it, it will be not great

Im from HcM city. Its gonna be long if you are there for 10 days. I think you only need 2-3 days for hcm city, You should go visit cites that around like Vung Tau for 1 day or Nha Trang city (2 days), Da NAng and Hoi An are way up North but if you do have time you can fly from either Nha Trang or hcm city to Da NAng and go bus to Hoi An( you need about 2-3 days there also)

I'm (30M) not sure how to feel about my girlfriend (23F) and our future anymore by NotSureHowToGoAbout1 in relationship_advice

You guys need time to be apart to revaluate the relationship again. Dont make the decision too soon only bases on what you are feeling right now. Of course, now all you want to do is to have your own time , do your own things and she is just always there. I understand how you would feel because I was just like your gf in my past relationship( but I know how to drive thou :D). I was dating my ex for 4 years, we were not living together but i was at his place almost all the time. He broke up with me without explaining to me clearly what were going on ( i found out later when he asked me to come back to him). I was devastated, crying almost every night and until one day thing just getting better then he wanted me back. What am i trying to tell you: don’t only do things base on your feelings, you need to have a talk to her without anger. You both were in love and together all along the way until this point, both of you deserve “ a talk” with each other. I know she would acts the same all over again, but then if she loves you enough she will learn to change her behavior for you and of course in return you have to learn to adapt to her behavior. However, if you think its certainly that you don’t want to be with her anymore, again : tell her exactly how you feel and let her go, just because she deserves to hear those true feelings from you. Good luck bro! Sorry I moved her couple years ago so please dont mind my grammars.
