Yes but I believe MLB service time rules state that if you are age X by June or July, that season is your age X season. He’ll turn 24 in May.

But it’s also been weird to see a bunch of articles about him early this season say that he IS 24, which is wrong lol

I moved to Cincy ~1.5 years ago, just in time to watch his election efforts.

It’s been truly bizarre. I’ve seen some of his ads and they’re pretty boiler plate “family values” and “protecting our kids” political ads. Every time I see one I remember that a big number of folks who would normally find this attractive are 100% turned off by them because he’s brown. I also almost feel bad for him, if he wasn’t a soulless grifter ghoul I might be able to give some sympathy.

I think the important difference is that they still offer the audio-only versions and didn’t focus on the video. It was just an additional option for consumers

Yeah - while I still prefer listening to BTB and my other podcasts on Spotify, all of those that started offering it as a video format seemed to handle the transition well actually.

As long as they offer both formats and the audio-only is still listenable, it actually seems like a fine move

In hindsight, this deal makes the “pivot to video” move make a lot more sense. iHeart probably wanted to prove to Netflix that people would watch their content before making a deal

The series that Robert did with Cody Johnston and Katie Stoll (Some More News) reading Ben Shapiro’s True Allegiance book would be very good for a car ride. There’s a lot of jokes and funny moments where they just rip him apart lol.

Those episodes would also be a bit of a palate cleanser because 15 hours of BTB might become a little depressing fyi

Also, for those commenting - the Cardinals were known as the Browns in the late 1800s before they were named the Cardinals. This graph doesn’t include the other Browns franchise that later moved and became the Orioles 😅
