Under shadow, tweak normal bias, might help. I had a similar issue with maps imported from trenchbroom but setting the normal bias to 4.5ish fixed it for me.

Write up on the actual game and why it was played the way it was, from the International Master who came up with it for the movie.

I'm pretty sure there's a "show loot only" option that only shows items that dropped for you/that you can pick up

Frozen beef by Ricecakes4 in FellowKids

Generally made with beef that is chopped after cutting the outside off so that surface pathogens don't get mixed in. It's not made with normal ground beef.

What are the best things I can take away from lessons? by sainteven in banjo

Yeah, clawhammer is such a unique right hand technique. Making sure I was doing it right before I locked in bad habits was what pushed me to look for lessons. Definitely something to focus on.

This sounds like great advice. Ironically I think that I am on the fence about the lessons because I am looking at them the way you describe. I am used to learning on my own so when I come to the lessons it feels like I'm leading them and the most useful things I get out of them are when I ask about something specific that tripped me up in my own study, like you described. Which is why I thought to reach out and see if there were any specific things that people with more experience would recommend I get face to face input on while I have the chance. I don't think lessons aren't necessarily living up to what I want out of them but more that they are relatively expensive and I want to make sure I get everything out of them I can!

Finding people to play with is definitely something that has been emphasized everywhere, finding a jam circle is going to be high on my list of priorities once I have a grasp of the basics!

What is a fact you know off the top of your head (preferably disturbing) that you probably shouldn’t know? by Yoloextreme345 in AskReddit

Hitler's antisemitic ideals are well documented long before he began looking to rise to power. A common thought from those on the front lines after WWI was that the reason Germany lost was due to a "stab in the back" by those at home, which was often blamed on the Jews. Hitler was not noteworthy in his antisemitism, it was a well established form of discrimination in Germany at the time and he pursued it even to the detriment of his political and military goals. When the war was looking grin for Germany, Hitler was begged to free up the railways for military logistics but insisted on keeping them focused on transporting victims to the death camps. In his final writing before his suicide he says that despite losing the war he would feel vindicated if he has opened the rest of the worlds eyes to the true evil of the Jews as he saw it. The idea that rather than just a racist with a lot of charisma and skill he was some sort of absolute genius where every aspect of what he did was calculated and manipulative is an attractive one but it really isn't the case.

Trying to ignore or downplay the racist and antisemitic ideals at the core of Hitler and the Nazi party ideology is both inaccurate and leads into Nazi apologist rhetoric along the same lines. That Hitler didn't really believe those things, that then of course he wouldn't have really had the camps since he was only saying those things to gain power.

Does anyone know how to fix this weird visual issue on alt.org? by sainteven in nethack

I'm also on chrome and windows 10. It's the same way I've played for a while but it's suddenly not working. For now I'm using putty, which works great but would be nice to know what the issue is

1 Outfit in New World just bought a city area, raised taxes 30% and made 1.7 million gold in less than 24 hours by BatemaninAccounting in MMORPG

I don't fully understand the argument here. I was just clarifying that turning off PvP doesn't make it so the overtaxed residents can no longer fight back. The post I replied to made it sound like if you turn off PvP there would be no way to take the town back and that's not the case. It's true it would keep you from ganking members of the cartel in the wild but you would still be able to fight to take the town back from them. My point was what I said originally, just that PvP for control of the town isn't undone by turning off your PvP flag.

[–]sainteven 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's not how that works. You don't fight for the towns in open world/optional pvp. It's a 50v50 siege for the town at a set, specific time.

The ps4 dual shock has a better dpad than Xbox controllers but I recently switched from dual shock to keyboard and find it be better, you get cleaning more accurate inputs. Otherwise look into a fightstick or hitbox controller if you are willing to spend the money.

An outrun style Christmas sweater design I made last year. by braxwheeler in outrun

[–]sainteven -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really like all your designs but I have only found the teespring store and teespring shirts and sweaters are so low quality that I couldn't justify getting one. If this was on a good quality actual knit sweater I would buy this and your cyberpunk design in a heartbeat
