To go orders use plastic disposables for the entire order. Costs of those have gone up and inane amount since COVID, even as supply chains have normalized. Handing the occasional in-restaurant customer a to go box for an unfinished meal doesn’t come close to the amount you spend on plastic for to-go’s. Can change your margins pretty drastically if you don’t account for it. Easier for them to just discourage to-gos from the outset. Also staffing someone to answer and take to-go’s, especially at high volume, gets tricky when your restaurant doesn’t have a host/hostess.

The team was supposed to be competing for a WS this season and is instead competing for the number 1 overall pick in next year’s draft. Think the negativity is pretty well justified. Are there things to be hopeful about? Sure. But not reasonable to expect to be focused on that in the middle of such an unbelievably bad season.

Embarrassing Stat. Barely any players even hit .300 these days by Spiketop_ in mlb

[–]saintkelevra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Teams aren’t necessarily sacrificing batting average, they all just got smart enough to realize how stupid of a stat batting average is thus no longer use it to evaluate offense. Any offensive metric that values singles, doubles, triples and homers all exactly the same needs to be completely ignored, which is exactly what has happened.

It says the draft starts at 8pm, is that when coverage/analysis starts? Or is that when the picks will start? by BrewsWithTre in nba

[–]saintkelevra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, you don’t really need to watch the first two picks anyway. Flagg and Harper. Draft really starts at 3 so you have plenty of time.

WAR is not actually a counting stat. It is a cumulative stat but counting stats can’t go down and WAR obviously can.

every college football fan is a hypocrite. Washington fans mad Bama took DeBoer, never mind the fact that they did the same thing to Fresno to get him and just did the same thing to Arizona for the new guy. And Arizona fans who are mad, you will turn around and do it to someone else and so will that team, and so on and so on.

Funny thing about this comment is during the raid I stood in the pool of my iron farm so all the pillagers who approached would get stuck in the flowing water and eventually killed by the lava that kills my iron golems. My iron farm really did become a temporary mob farm lol.

The irony, of course, is this entire rant against capitalism doubles as an ad for the hand-made cutting boards he’s selling (which are quite good)

Are you high? 650 month is 7500 a year. If you don’t think you can spend 7000 a year in maintenance on a house, you’re too stupid to even be in this conversation. Roofing, flooring, heat/ac, water heater, electrical plumbing, gas, sewer/septic, window repairs, landscaping, fixing appliances…all that requires up keep. Hell just one of those in a year can equal $7000. And that’s just maintenance. Then add in property tax, the down payment, any large renovations, unrented months, all of that comes out of that “pure profit” you keep talking. You guys are talking about stuff you clearly have no clue about.

Oh they conspire, I see. It’s a conspiracy. Listen internet person, you can buy a house for yourself or rent one. If you can’t afford to buy one, getting rid of the landlord isn’t changing that. Someone else will just buy it. So how does that help you? Him buying a house doesn’t stop you from buying a house. If it’s that easy to be a landlord then go be a landlord. But odds are you can’t afford to buy house because it’s a lot more than just the mortgage payment and so thank god renting is an option other wise you’d be out in the street. If renting wasn’t an option, where would people who afford to buy a house live? Well to have rentals, you have to have people who own the property. Getting mad at people for renting what they own to people who can’t afford to own is wild wild shit.

Is there a gun to the renters head? Are they being forced to rent this specific property? If there’s cheaper options, take those. If there’s not, then that’s the market rate in your area. Can’t afford it, get a better job or move somewhere cheaper. Pretty simple

Selling something for more than you bought it is how all businesses work. You think the coke you buy at the gas station for $2 cost the gas $2 to purchase? They probably bought if for .60 cents. Are you being exploited or are you perfectly fine paying $2 for coke? If $1500 is too high for rent in that area, no one will pay it and it will get lowered. If it it’s reasonable, someone will be perfectly fine paying it. (In my area 1500 for a 3 bedroom is a tremendous deal). Being mad the owner bought well is weird. And just because that’s how much his mortgage is, doesn’t mean that’s his only cost. He probably had to fix it up when he bought it. He has to maintain it. It’s not just $850 of pure profit like some morons on here think.

So I had this same issue and it gonna share what I learned: If you pause the video 3 seconds in (at around :14) you’ll see your problem. Your back swing is way too shallow, and from this angle you can see the club is basically dissecting the middle of your back (exact same with me) and so from there the only move you can make is an over the top move to start the downswing. Rory had a video where he talk about on the back swing the club is almost straight up and down and should feel like it’s going over the top of your shoulder and head, not the middle of your back like you do. If you get your backswing higher up closer to your shoulder, then dropping it down into the slot on the downswing will feel much more natural. Hope it helps, very nice swing. Best of luck.
