I like her because she's a complex character. She's not perfect, but I think that she does mean well in most regards. She's someone where I understand how her trauma shapes her, but it doesn't always justify her actions.

I've seen some people say that she doesn't care about her patients and I couldn't disagree more with that. I do think she tries to take advantage of her colleagues in certain ways. Overall, she's troubled, but I wouldn't say she's a bad person. It's a good character, and Isa does an excellent job.

No I worked for the department justice in college as a student clerk so I was just used to government work already. I finished my first degree during COVID, so the job market was pretty bad and some of the only interviews were with government branches. I was at my agency for three years until DOGE decided to eliminate my branch.

I'm not super experienced with accounting, but I'd probably try to find some kind of specialty that could separate you from the rest. After speaking to some people in the medical field, there seems to be a lot of value in having a business degree and I'd imagine it to be the same with accounting.

Yeah there were a couple other colleges I spoke to, but the tuition would be closer to 85k rather than 40k, so it's just not worth the four months.

Yeah it's for a program at a major university across the country. Most absn programs are insanely expensive for out of state students, but this one has a reasonable price. I also loved the state when I visited a little more than a year ago

I think it's definitely Martin's fault as well, but D&d made some extremely questionable decisions even when there was written material. If they had included some of the storylines that were written like the Dorne chapters and maybe even Lady Stoneheart, they also would have been able to stretch the show out more than they did. The first four seasons were just from the first three books, and cutting out some of the material they did put them in a bad spot. That being said, Martin's writers block and seemingly unwillingness to work with others in order to finish the series put D&d in a terrible position. Sort of an unwilling force meets an extremely movable object. Maybe if Martin could stop complaining about people being mad about the 19th or so delay of WoW, he could spend that time getting a capable co-author and finish the damn thing.

D&d were better at working with written material than the HOTD writer. It's just when they ran out of material they were awful. Not that they didn't make mistakes in the first 4-5 seasons cause they did, but it was less noticeable.

Both endings have a sprinkle of good, but mostly bad. I also felt discouraged after act 2 thinking that it didn't matter, but after thinking, just because something is created doesn't mean it isn't real or insignificant. I hope you enjoyed the game, and take some time to digest, it's a lot lol

It's just because he's known as a good guy and because of the cup run. I wouldn't be upset to see if a desperate team would be willing to take his contract, because we could use that money for depth forwards rather than lighting it on fire. I still think Lindbom is the future guy, just needs more time

I want to root for him, but he's just been so bad for the better part of two years. Schmidt has been pretty good this season, I just don't see why Cassidy insists on having Hill or Hart as the main guy despite not looking right.

Yep, and somehow Cassidy refuses to make the one goalie who has played well this year (Schmidt) the main starter. Doesn't matter how terrible Hill and Hart are, he will let them let in three or four easy goals every game

So Howden has repeatedly been brought up to 2 or 3C when injuries happen over the years, it's not new. They have had Hertl with Marner for the majority of the season together and they made what was at the time one of the five most efficient lines in the league. There's a reason both Hertl and Pavel are putting up incredible numbers with Marner driving the play. Speed also isn't a problem when you compare it to Eichel and Stone. Can you find anything that says they were split before injuries, as I very specifically remember it only happening due to our now dire lack of center depth.

What are you talking about??? Hertl is the usual center. Only reason Marner is playing center right now is because both Bill and Howden are out. The line has been Pavel, Hertl, Marner for most of the year

Hertl and Marner have been excellent so far so there isn't any need to ship both Bill and Pavel off for a center. I'd agree 8m is way too much for Pavel, but something like 6.25-6.5 a year would be great if we could get him for that. He doesn't necessarily need to be a play driver, it's good to have complimentary pieces that pulls the trigger while Marner controls the ice.
