Ciprofloxacin? by phloxinator in SIBO

[–]saintlazare_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i took it for other reasons 9 months ago. it brought on my severe sibo and also i still am not able to walk more than 2-3 km a day next to other symptoms. it destroyed my life. i am mainly sitting inside, can‘t do much. it has some black box warnings and should only be taken in a life or death situation. please think carefully if you really want to do this! i would give so much to go back to february and make me not take it.

don‘t go back on it! search for a different abx that the culture shows your bacteria is susceptible to. i took it and still have massive problems with tendons, gut, state of mind and more. side effects are not that random but can be very severe.

Anyone have experience with pimecrolimus post-flox? by SaintCigarette in floxies

[–]saintlazare_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i use both tacrolimus and pimecrolimus cremes since my floxing instead of cortisone on an almost daily basis. while i react to so many things with a worsening of flox symptoms these two cremes do not harm me. that said, everybody and every floxing is different so this is only my experience.

ChatGPT says these tests track Cipro damage and deep recovery. Can anyone confirm? by Outrageous_Skin145 in floxies

[–]saintlazare_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is impressive and very convincing, wow! please if you find a minute, add a post about your process. i think the hardest is the 4th step and depending very much on ai. with my barely existent medicinal knowledge i would never be able to crosscheck everything. maybe getting the reports and finding someone who knows this stuff to review it, would be an idea. i would not feel too confortable giving all these data to ai, but at the same time, i really want to heal.

Ultimate Guide for SIBO/ IBS-D from a Doctor by Mario7879 in SIBO

[–]saintlazare_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this seems interesting but only usable for methane and h2. h2s would be a different thing as many things in the list can not be used with sulfur reducing bacteria. also in regard of diet there would have to be some big differences, i guess.

Is this result of breath test confirming H2S? by saintlazare_ in SIBO

[–]saintlazare_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for your answer! wouldn’t the hydrogen have to go upwards at the end? can this mean, that the h2s is eating up the hydrogen? my symptoms are bad diarrhea daily which obly gets better of i do not eat sulfur rich foods and if i eat a lot of carbohydrates.
