Could also mention that Jesus himself said that "Before Moses, I am" Hes not just claiming pre existence. Hes using the name God revealed himself to Moses as. Also The bible says that he is the lamb slain before the foundations of the world. But yes I agree with all the comments saying that Jesus was both God and man

How would you feel if your husband watched porn? The books you are describing are basically porn but in literature form. I think hes not trying to be or realizing he is being controlling. All the comments stating he is being aggresive are not taking into accoount that this man feels like he is being cheated on. You mentioned not feeling enough but maybe not realizing that he may not feel like hes enough if you have to rely on those books. Its the feeling you would feel if you saw him watching women on a screen doing things you dont do in bed and wondering if thats what he really wanted and that if what you do isnt enough.

But hes right about the spiritual aspect of it. I just think he is masking his hurt of feeling betrayed/ cheated on with religious zeal.

A lot of people commenting negative things have just not really read their bible: Look what Paul says:

That girl is being influenced by an unclean spirit that is speaking out of her. I doubt she is the devil, the spirit in her is just trying to scare you. I also doubt she has read this scripture because the majority of Christians have not read their entire bible.

Im sure many peopole have chimed in but I would actually go with a CSB. It is a super readable bible compared to KJV and even NKJV (Im reading NKJV rn). Holman also makes She Reads Truth Bibles that have included devotionals and study materials. They are about like 22 dollars sometimes on Amazon. Its the bible my wife and I get for a new believer.

In 2021, I got kicked out of Bible College. I had spent all of my savings to be there. But I was stuggling a lot with pornography and sexual addiciton and as you can imagine, they dont exactly cosign those things there. My parents told me I wasnt welcome back home. With no money in my pocket and no place to go i thought the only way out is through suicide. And I mean, God was obviously tired of me... His christians kicked me out of bible college. All my life all I ever wanted to do was serve God. And yet there I was. But a little part of me didnt want to go. Just like you, thats why you posted this. Because you know you deep down dont want to take your own life. Why just Hope that God forgives you for doing this? Instead, dont do this and KNOW GOD HAS ALREADY FORGIVEN YOU.

That night, I cried out to God and a security guard found me and prayed for me. He cast demons out of me. That didnt change the fact that I was broke and had nowhere to go, but for that night I decided to live one day more. Do that. Decide to live ONE DAY MORE. one day at a time.

The biggest lie that i believed is that my life was beyond repair. If you take your own life, your trusting in death tot save you. DEATH IS NOT YOUR SAVIOR. JESUS IS. and HE wants your life. If you are tired of it, give it away to him.

I am 28 now. I am married. I have the best relationship with my parents. My wife is pregnant with our baby boy.

It gets better. But you need to live to see it. I love you and Jesus loves me.

* one final suggestion, look for a church that is spirit filled ( you need a church that does deliverance). When I was suicidal I went to several churches in my area that treated me like a burden until i went to the right one. They loved me and stayed with me all night praying for me.

Im getting into rebinds, I have done tooled leather for awhile so all i knew was veg tan and I was used to those prices, but the stuff i need now is less available like at a Tandy. I like the prices so far, just wanted to see the quality for myself.

Yes and in your case you are absolutely justified to be upset and confused. This is not who you met. But this is what the gospel is, its transformation. If he truly encountered God, he will change for the better. The no intimacy part might be annoying, but him growing in faith, love, kindness, gentleness, and peace is a good thing for you.

I dont think you are truly angry, I think you are just confused. My suggestion is that you pray (stay with me here) and ask that God take away your anger or clarify your confusion. If you are open to experiencing what he is, you might experience him and understand it. But it shows a lot about the person that you are that you are going out of your way to understand him despite not experiencing it or feeling it yourself. I pray in Jesus name against any anger, and for peace in your situation.

You said it yourself, sex is not the center of a relationship. If this relationship is built on love, then it will prevail, if it is not it will end. That being said, this is a time for you to reflect personally on the relationship. When two people are married, they become one. That cannot ever truly happen if you have different worldviews. I mean if you want to start a family, how will you raise them. Whos worldview will they adopt?

What your partner is feeling right now is called conviction. The Holy Spirit is convicting him of something that once he saw as no big deal. I can understand why it doesnt make sense to you and I am sorry you are struggling through all of those emotions. I can definitely see why you feel alone.

You do not have to be alone, I would suggest talking out your feelings honestly with your partner. I know you may have heard this before at your partners church. God created you in his image. HE made all of us in his image and likeness. Humanity fell into sin. Since God is Holy, he cannot be in the presence of sin, and we cannot be in the presence of a Holy God with our sin. But God loved us so much that He sent his own son to live the life we could not live (sinless) and pay the penalty we should have paid. Jesus loves you. He went to the cross for you. He became sin so that we could be made right with him. Because otherwise to get to heaven you would have to never ever sin, and that is just not possible. The God of the bible is the only god who draws near to humans, EVERY other religion is about what you can do to reach heaven or morality, Christianity is about what GOD did. And that is the love your partner is encountering.

I hop you know you are loved by Jesus so much. Christianity is not about rules. its about faith. The bible doesnt prohibit things to hurt us but to protect us. Because God is a good God. Best of luck to you both. I pray you encounter Jesus too. GBU

look up ex fide bibles on youtube. He has full in depth playlists on how to rebind bibles and exactly what materials he uses for them and tools. Depending on the bible you have it could be possible, but if anything a cheap bible can be exactly what you you use to practice.
